V-Kilts are sized in the number inches around at the waist of the garment. This number is the maximum circumference of the kilt. They adjust up to 2" smaller. If you plan to wear your kilt at your hips, use the measurement of your circumference there. If you like to wear them in the traditional position, measure the area around your stomach where the kilt will sit. Our standard kilt drop is 22"-24" inches which gradually increases as the waist size increases. Tartan pattern fabric is 13oz. Acrylic Wool, single color fabric is 16oz Cotton.
