It doesn’t work long term. Dogs get used to it and bark over the frequency. No matter how close or how much it’s turned up.

We have a Chiweenie (Chihauha/Daschhound mix) that is very high strung. His bark is piercing and causing us to have tinnitus so we thought we would try this out. We have a fenced in backyard and a doggie door so the dogs can go in an out as they wish. It was up and running for one day in the backyard and he started acting different. He got where he wouldn't go out to the backyard where we had it running. He started shaking and panting really hard, the same way he does for fireworks. I felt sorry for him, so we turned it off after only one day. I can say that it works but with his nervous temperament I'm not sure we can use it on a daily basis. Out other dog didn't seem to be bothered by it, he walked around the yard and acted normal.

While yes its effective. My poor pups are beyond anxious when it's turned on. Even lowest settings. My male dog goes a little over the top when his anxiety hits. He hides and wants to sleep with us. Normally he's a lone wolf and loves his living room space. My female dog is never bothered by anything and this upset her as well. Not as bad as my male dog. I am willing to keep it a little longer and see how it goes. Definitely stops the barking.

Battery sucker.It works but be prepared to replaced 9V often.

I just got it today and trying it now. I am hopeful it will work for our dog who constantly barks at my baby.I’ll be updating in a few days.. crossing fingers it works well 🙂

This is a piece of junk. I have tried multiple batteries and nothing works. It will light up for a minute and then stop working. This was expensive and was a total waste of money.

Wow. Just wow. This thing works. It didn't even take a couple of weeks.... and it didn't take anything other than "1" setting (which is the lowest). We have 3 little dogs that bark when we let them out back and it is a cacophony. They also bark outside if they THINK the neighbor is in their driveway/their back yard - which our neighbor says is fine - but I DO NOT THINK IT IS FINE! We have tried bark collars, even a device like this that looked like a bird house - for our OWN dogs - not even a neighbors!! And nothing has worked. I stumbled on this and figured - huh.... I wonder..... Guys - I bought 3 more figuring I would place the stragically around our property. I don't think we even need them! The of the one we have seems to be just fine - honestly - you prayers are ANSWERED. This thing is UNBELIEVABLE.

I foster a little Jack Russell who hates to be crated. He gets crated at night because I don't like him running loose in the house and I no longer sleep with my dogs. Prior to getting this product, he would bark from the time I put him in the crate until morning. Literally. I knew it was causing him stress and it was certainly causing us stress having to listen to him. I set this up outside his crate, and he barked ONCE. After that, we haven't heard a peep from him. It worked so well, I decided to get another one to put outside by our gate where he stands and barks as well. We now have a relatively quiet dog!!! It's wonderful!!!
