I was initially confused as the diameter is 1" despite 3/4" being stamped on the nut. Some online research revealed that BSP sizes differ from what you might expect:"BSP sizes don't match up with what you measure on the scale of a ruler, which can obviously cause some confusion. Not sure about the sizings on these things looking at the reviews, but last night the connector to the water feed and the outside tap leaked I had a massive water flood all over my floor. I had to shut off the water until I could get a cap thank Amazon for next day delivery, looking at the reviews I was confused what size to order so I ordered 3 lots, these, 1 inch and 1.4 inch.This measures 1 inch at the biggest part so i’m assuming the 3/4 inch is the inside diameter measurement and fitted perfectly to an under the kitchen sink feed pipe.I don’t know much about plumbing but these have done the job to cap off the pipe.They are only cheap so if it’s an emergency situation I’d order a few sizes and just send back what you don’t need rather than risk getting one that don’t fit.

It stops off the water without any leakage. What more do you want from a blanking plate?

They are Great! But you might need to buy thicker washers dependant on the fitment, that's not a problem!

As many have said if you look at the 1* reviews these are not the size stated, 1inch diameter not 3/4.Update, After looking into this further it was my mistake not being a plumber. 3/4 does not mean a 3/4 inch thread, as per UK BSP standards, 3/4 is in fact a 1 inch diameter. Suggest you look up the scale before purchase, I revised to 3* as better sizing description by the seller would help non plumbers from making the same mistake I did.

Used to blank out water feeds (hot water feed near washing machine and a mains water feed to fridge we had no use for) to avoid any leaks or mistaken opening of valves and they did the job fine! Great value compared to the damage that could be caused by accidents!

Nikel , après démontage de radiateurs pour refaire le mur , une vanne de réglage laisser passer de l'eau quand la chaudière était sous pression , après dépannage avec tuyau d'arrosage ( même filetage) et bassine pour les gouttes, cet article est nikel , on devrait tous en avoir dans la caisse a outils pour le prix ça sert toujours ... surtout difficile a trouver dans magasin de bricolage ...

Fait le job, écrous utilisés pour bloquer les arrivées eau chaude / eau froide d’un mitigeur de douche le temps des travaux. Le plus : présence de joints livrés avec les écrous

Très bien adapté pour le robinet de mon lave linge et à moindre coût !

Rien à redire, ils sont juste parfaits.
