Aesop's Fables for Little Children (Story Collections for Little Children)

Captures little kids’ attention
We bought this book for Morning Times when the little kids don’t have preschool. I’ve been trying to figure out how it’s so effective but I think it’s because the narration fades out to allow the characters to speak for themselves like a comic book and the pace is just right to set up the world and then fast enough to get to a satisfactory conclusion. There are some welcome modern edits on some of the stories, like making some characters female and a really nice take on the ant and the grasshopper, where they learn from each other to both work and relax (and share).

Well Written
It’s an appropriately written book for 3-5 year olds. The kids in my class really enjoyed this version.

Very funny book that kids will enjoy a lot
There are two benefits children will get from Aesop's Fables. First, they are very short and fun to read. Second, they have a moral to them to make the reader think, and thinking is what makes us human.

Depends on purpose...
I have at least 6 of the Usborne story books from the 'For Little Children' series for my toddler son and I found the adaptation of stories in this specific book to be quite boring and simplistic even for little children. However, due to the simplicity of the stories and language I think it'll be a great book for him to read by himself as a beginner (when the time comes). For this reason I didn't return the book and I'd even recommend it for this purpose.

Quality Presentation with Good Moral Lessons
Super cute book with great illustrations and very fun interpretations that kids should find engaging. I'm an adult and I really enjoyed this book. We're never too old for a nice story. Be aware that if you want to use this for a bedtime story, arrange things so your child can see the pictures, because the visuals add a lot to the text. This is also a great choice if you like doing character voices for your kid, because there are a lot of dramatic exclamations that you could have fun with. If you don't feel like performing late at night, a more straightforward reading will work as well. The pictures are fun, not creepy (as dark colours can sometimes be too young minds). The moral principles come through very clearly in a simple, kid friendly way. I'd definitely want this book in my own kid's library.

Great book for small kids
The book is amazing - the materials it's made of are of great quality, the artwork is stunning and the stories are really well narrated. I highly recommend it. I am generally really impressed with the Usborne's books' quality and would continue buying them.
