I had seen these types of charging cables for awhile but honestly I felt like it would have been an unnecessary purchase since I already have multiple cables for anything I needed to charge. But I’m also a sucker for new tech so when my iPad mini started to have issues with the charging port, (Had to move cord a bit to get a connection), I decided to try the magnetic charging cord versus taking it in to get repaired.For reference, I’m using a 25w wall charger. For my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the connection is instant and charges fast. For my iPad mini 5th generation, there is about a five second delay before I see the connection but I don’t have to jiggle the cord at all, just let the magnets touch, wait a few seconds and I’m good. I waited to see if the iPad mini actually charges before leaving this review and it does. It’s not super fast but I honestly would have been happy if it only held a charge. No noticeable difference in temperature from the cable at wall end or device end. The swivel feature is really nice as well. The magnets do not separate with normal movement of the iphone or iPad mini. I would also note that I have cases on both devices. Mous case on the phone and survivor case on the iPad mini and neither case got in the way of the connector tips.Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and wish I had bought them earlier.

Great little cable! Plenty of tips to choose from for different devices. Works great on android phones.States not fast charge supported but honestly I think it charges really well.Love the led light to find connection quickly.Stays connected to phone well while using.No it won't stay on if you hold phone by cable. But so what?Magnet is plenty strong enough for use intended.

Order was fast with no hassle. 3 cords 10ft, etc.. the magnetic is strong, has 180° flip cord. Perfect for when you’re laying in bed etc.. cord doesn’t bend so it won’t break away. Charges fast with a quality block. Price is great! I will definitely order again when I need to and order some for my teenagers phone. So much better than the other companies out there.

They start out decent, but after about 3 days of use the cable weakens and it can only slow charge. Worse than slow charging, it doesn't even provide enough power to tick up by a single percent of battery. Four hours for 10% charge? Absolutely not. Worthless. Don't buy it. They're literal trash. Looking into an alternative now.

This works very well and can be adapted for the car as long as you have a charger with an input for a standard USB-A cord. The magnet is reasonably strong and makes a solid connection.On the negative side, you can only use this if you have a case for your phone that has a very large opening for the Lightning power cable (for iPhone) or if you don’t use a case at all. The steel adaptor is too large to fit through the Lightning cable gap (in the phone case) of either my wife’s or my son’s Otter Box iPhone cases, so, in order to use this with an iPhone, protected with an Otter Box case, you will have to remove the phone from the case in order to use it. If it weren’t for that fact, I would have bought more of these magnetic connectors for my wife’s and my son’s phones. Luckily, when I bought this cable, I had just switched from using an Otter Box (which doesn’t have protection for the lenses on the back of an iPhone 13) to one of the cases, available here on Amazon, that offers a sliding plastic door to close the protruding lenses and flashlight on the back of the iPhone 13, when you’re not using the camera or the flashlight to protect them from accidental damage. These cases have a large cut-out in the outer shell of the case that allows the magnetic adaptor for this to fit through the case so that the adaptor can be placed within the Lightning socket of an iPhone 13, which allows this cable to make a good connection within the Lightning socket.It’s a shame, as Otter Box cases are some of the best and best selling iPhone cases on the market, that this company couldn’t come up with a smaller adaptor piece that would fit through the Lightning port gap in Otter Box iPhone cases so that these magnetic cables could work with phones housed in Otter Box cases. Maybe, that improvement will be in the next iteration of this Lightning cable adaptor?

I've had mine since December but they’re doing what all charging cables do now. Dying. Overheating too, not "connecting" as in the actual transfer of energy isn't working despite the magnets being linked. I have 2 of the cables in use and BOTH are experiencing this issue even though I only started using the other cable quite recently. I've swapped the other male components in the phone itself out to try to figure out what the culprit is but it’s definitely the main cable and not the lightning connector.They also tend to get some corrosion in them over time, like how old RC cars got the same electrical corrosion on the metal underside where they met the current in tracks. I usually wipe it off at least once a day. It’s just a general black soot kind of corrosion so it’s not hard to clean but it does impact the connection between cable and phone.I think a name brand version of these may not have this same problem, and we are getting closer to the "perfect" phone charger. But these aren’t it.They do last far longer than standard lightning cables though, so there is that.Sept 2024 update: I'm on the last cable now and it’s dying so I have to replace the entire set. What I CAN say is they (6 cables) lasted ALMOST 2 years.

I feel like a genius for buying these - they’re amazing! Perfect for charging multiple devices that require different cables. Just plug in the cable to a USB power source, insert the connectors in your devices (they’re so small you can leave them in if you like), and connect them when you need to charge. Eliminates all that cable clutter - no need to have multiple cables laying around my bedside table, desk and living room. Just one cable in each room and it’s compatible with all my devices (iPhone, Samsung tablet, Bluetooth speaker, wireless earphones, massage gun, Kindle).There’s a blue light on the end of the cable to let you know it’s ready to charge. The magnet is strong and swivels so it won’t disconnect easily. The cable is braided but fairly thin, so it’s sturdy but flexible.I’m really happy with them. I hope they last a long time.
