The item does exactly what it is supposed to. It cuts pretty good and consistently. The shredder does sometimes gum up or not cut correctly when paper doesn't go like perfectly aligned, so you do have to pull out the paper and try it again. But other than that it does exactly as advertised and does it well.

I have a very effective shredder for big jobs, involving multiple sheets. But I bought this to handle small items. I didn't expect much from this handheld shredder and that's exactly what I got. It's okay for shredding small receipts and single sheets of paper, as long as they're no more than four inches wide. Beyond that, it struggles. The main problem is that its shredded strips become entangled in the blades and cannot easily be cleared. I'm keeping this machine only because there's nothing better on the market.

Two sheets of standard 8.5/11 paper must be folder in half longways to fit. However, when you do this, the shredder Struggles to shred. The size/ convenience of this device is commendable, bit if you're looking to shred more than a SINGLE page (folded in half) at a time, this is Not the one.

Works as advertised. Good to shred one sheet at a time.

We live in a tiny house so this is perfect. It’s one, max two sheets at a time and the only thing of note is that you must fold a letter size piece of paper to fit it in because it’s only about 6” across. This is only meant for smaller amounts so if you only need it occasionally this works and it only takes up a very small amount of space for storage.

The positive - it works. However you can only put one piece of paper at a time - even a folded sheet causes it to stumble.

Sadly this shredder will not handle plastic cards which was the reason I purchased it.Thin medical cards would go through the shredder and come out whole with just perforations, would not shred the cards even when ran through multiple times. Disappointing.
