Hemi-Sync Meditation Audio CD – October 1, 2003

I first heard about Hemi-Sync from Eben Alexander, MD in his book "Proof of Heaven". He claims to use it frequently for meditation and gets good results. I ordered the CD and put it on iTUNES. Unfortunately, the CD, which was produced in 2003 has no coding on it to allow for the album name, artist or track name. It only contains the Track 01 number. I was able to get the information from the Internet and to create a Playlist identifying the CD. I wrote to Hemi-Sync about the lack of information on the CD and received the following reply:This CD is a Mind Food CD, we have different categories i.e.; Mind Food,Human Plus, Metamusic, Heart-Sync. Each Cd is listed with the title andwhat category it falls under. We are a very small organization, and most ofour CDs were created before there was such a thing as coding CDs to pull upon players. We are coding our CDs as they come up for production and anynew CDs that have been created since do have proper coding on them. Pleaseaccept our apologies if this has inconvenienced you in any way.I have only listened to the CD twice and feel that I need more time to make an effective evaluation. At that time, I'll determine if I wish to purchase any additional Hemi-Sync CDs.

I have been Meditating for over 20 years. I lost my way when I lost the love of my life! I knew I had to get back to my source and find my way again. Meditating was my portal to freedom of this broken heart. I wanted to be able to do this everyday twice a day. So at bed time I pop on the head phones and do 45 mins of checking out and and letting myself tap into the depths of my Soul. I wake up 1 hour early every morning and do my second session.This CD is just what I needed to help me go deep and to lower my brain waves to the level of this place and tap into the place with love, answers and more. I highly recommend it, if you like to just shut down and check out of the over active mind.

I like this meditation CD from Hemi-Sync. After several minutes, I feel my body relaxing, almost feeling like a "Tiredness" overtaking me.At first blush, my initial impressions was this CD was was "too busy" with its sound selections. I heard an ocean waves lapping at a beach, a persistent wind and a varying hum all based together. Rather than judging too early, I gave this CD from Hemi-Sync a chance to 'see what it could do'. After 45 minutes, my alertness was both relaxed and focussed. I felt a deeper sense of calmness. It does what it intends to achieve.Overall, these meditation sounds are useful to achieving a sense of relaxation and calmness. I actually do like now!!!

I like this recording a lot. I've been meditating for years, but some days I just can't settle in... maybe it's from teenage daughters and friends running through the house or creating a disaster in the kitchen. This recording really helps me go deep and leave this world behind... I can really feel it. I had tried binaural beats before and didn't really care for it, but this one I like... a lot... I guess I'm surprised.

I have used this CD once. I look forward to using it again to see if it aids my meditation.

This is not your normal CD. It's one whose 'time to effectiveness' varies from person to person. I am still in the process.

Keep in mind that there is no voice or guided meditation on this product; just sound patterns. I find it helps clear your mind while meditating, and/or helps you focus if you have a direction you want to go in your meditation.

It works! Just wish it would stay on the whole time vs just 45min.
