Great for CPR but a different model to one shown.
I bought this as a cheap and cheerful aid for CPR, and for that purpose it's ideal. The unit is light enough to clip onto clothing with the handy fitted clip. If you wear a uniform, it clips neatly into a chest radio loop. Some colleagues have already asked me where I got it.Once you have it set up, one button starts it off, which is handy.Be aware.. The metronome I received from this purchase is similar to the one shown with some subtle (and not so subtle) differences, namely:Different colour - the one currently shipping is a 2 tone grey body and silver-esque top.2 red LEDs that flash in time with the cadenceVibrate function for 'silent'Countdown timer (although I haven't yet worked out how to set this function, and don't need it)Unit uses a CR2032 battery, not AAA. This makes it lighter, but I imagine the battery will run out faster, especially using vibrate mode.

Space-saving, inexpensive, fiddly
I bought this metronome to lend out to pupils as I'm a music teacher. It scores well on affordability - in case they lose it or break it. It does everything described. However, as soon as you switch it on it starts ticking and it's a fiddle to mute if you want some peace while you adjust it. (You can fix this by setting it on mute before switching it off, if you remember). The whole unit is tiny, which is great for portability but means the buttons, display and print are tiny too. The two visual indicators (a light and a side-to-side blob on the LCD display) appear to be out of synch, especially at fast speeds, perhaps becasue LEDs are quicker than LCD to respond to the electrical impulse. The volume control has only three levels (plus mute). If you want to use it for playing the piano you will need to set it to top volume and wear it on your lapel, otherwise your playing may drown it out.At this price you can't expect too much...

Good.
My first metronome. I wanted something that clicked and ticked. I was a bit disappointed with it at first as it gives off an electronic beep (digital, duh). However, when I started playing my guitar with it, the beep sounds like a healthy tick. I also like clipping it on to my guitar neck in viberate mode as the beat can be felt through my guitar. If you want a nice cheap workable metronome look no further, this is it. Oh, yes and it looks like an owl, lovely design.

does the job; just rather fiddly
This is a neat, small and cheap alternative to a Taktel kind of metronome, about a quarter of the price, and it will suit well enough for most purposes. It takes quite a bit of getting used to, trying, as it does, to do a lot of functions with very few buttons. I just bought it to get my grand-daughter started on piano. If she stays with it and makes good progress then I will buy her a "£20" metronome for birthday/Christmas, but for now this one is sufficient.

Perfect for my needs
This metronome is just right for what I need, the LED's are bright and easily visible.I use this product to assist keeping accurate time as I practice the Tabla. Also the audible click is useful in my Yoga teaching for counting the breath. Simple to use.The only downside is the LCD display "pendulum" lags slightly, but overall excellent value.Delivery was very fast.

Must Practice.
I have yet to use this fully, but it was easy to set up and 'customise'. In my case, this included toning down the volume, but it is a very useful to those of us who are lack a natural sense of rhythm.

excellent
This useful metronome has the invaluable facility of getting as low as 30 beats. I tend to use it for tricky bars of music at 33 to help me get the timing, and then play faster without the device. I use it for guitar.I couldn't find any software or other device which went this low as most stop at 40, and I have found it invaluable for training over complex timings. You can set the time signature, the device has an audible bleep with a slightly different tone at the start of the intervals, which is what I listen to. Definitely a good buy.

small and portable
the item itself is small and portable and excellent quality for the price once you have replaced the battery which cost more than the item to replace.
