I don't have any other one to compare this to, but it works great! I use Cremo shaving cream in the shower and this helps lather it right up!

It saved the part of my life that doesn't shave itself
The shaving brush I had before this was horrible. It was durable, but almost impossible to spread the shaving cream. It was designed for being eternal not for spreading cream or soap. I looked for something softer but didn't find it. Bad luck. I took a look on Amazon and there it was. (I guess, the detail of the skull in the handle in part influenced my decision. I'm not sure). So when it arrived and I try it, it was perfect. Until now, after a couple of months, it stays with all its bristles. Really saved the part of my life that doesn't shave because I don't have to say, "come on, why on earth I haven't change this *filth*," every morning! Which influenced my mood, as you can guess.

Good brush for beginners
I like this brush and use it to this day. This brush I bought when I first got into wet shaving and it has never disappointed. Would highly recommend for a beginner.
