Very heavy!
Very big and heavy but well worth the price! Loved how much soup it holds.

Very delicate
Loved it on paper but both bowls were damaged. The lids are very fragile and did not make it. One of the bowl had a crack as well. Even if it makes it during transportation, it will not last for long.

I like the look
The look of this pot is attractive but the lid is not flat and does not sit properly on the pot—one side is always up and rocks back and forth. There was also a chip in the lid. The pot requires a lot of prep (in my opinion) before first use which includes soaking for 6 hours, drying for one hour and then rubbing with oil and cooking for 2 hours. In my opinion it seems pricey for the product quality.

Feels authentic
It's not clear where these are made... the listing simply says, "Europe." It's heavy and feels very authentic, not a knock-off meant to look like a clay tagine. It reminds me of a clay caserole dish my mom got in Germany 60 years ago. The lid sits flat. There is no glaze on the underside of the lid or the bottom of the pot.It came well packaged in a brick of styrofoam. Another reviewer said her lid arrived chipped. so I'll be ginger with mine.NOTE... the pot must be seasoned before use. After that... I'll be careful to treat it like one of my cast iron skillets—no soap, just rinsed well and hand-dried.SEASONING INSTRUCTIONS: "Luksyol Clay cooking pots need to be seasoned before use. Soaked in water for 6 hours minimum. Left to dry for 1 hour. Rubbed with oil (olive or any frying oil). Placed in a cold oven and turned the heat on to 350 F / 175 C for 2 hours and left to get cold. Rubbed with oil again."
