Amazing results with no learning curve, even for gluten free pasta
I had the privilege of traveling to Italy last month and was amazed by how good the gluten free handmade pasta was there. I vowed to learn to make it at home, and promptly ordered this pasta maker. The first free afternoon I had to test it out, I made pasta dough with Antimo Caputo Gluten Free Pizza Flour, eggs, a dash of salt and a little water, using the dough hook on my food processor. It took just a few minutes for me to assemble the pasta maker; I chose the die for bucatini. After letting the dough rest for the appropriate time it was time for the moment of truth, starting up my mixer and watching those first pieces come out. I was absolutely blown away by the results! I made a large batch in case I had trouble at first, but there was no "first pancake" to throw away. I ended up with a ton of delicious fresh pasta. It took a few minutes for me to figure out the "cutter"; I assumed that I'd need a knife to slice off the pasta as it came out, but that little feature was the cherry on top - it sliced the pasta so neatly that the "little mouths" didn't get pinched closed. I'm so glad I bought this, and will probably give it as a gift - it's that good. I would recommend getting a pasta dryer to hang your long noodles on as you make them; it helps to keep the pasta from getting squashed and stuck together. 100% recommend, and no, there was no incentive from the manufacturer to write this - I just wanted to share.

Great budget alternative to the Kitchenaid maker!
This pasta press was very easy to get set up and making pasta right away. First thing I tried was the bucatini, which came out great although it does take a little time and patience to let the machine do its thing. It's very easy to swap between the dies as well. I'd suggest not going too wet with your pasta dough, the machine definitely likes a drier dough, although I did not have to go with a very dry/crumbly texture like some other reviewers mentioned - however I have only used AP flour with the machine so far and haven't used semolina flour pasta dough yet.No matter who makes this kind of machine it's a little bit of work to clean, but it's really easy to take apart and since it's plastic you can submerge it in the sink and not have to worry about gear oil drying out like with the metal machines. The dies are the only thing that takes extra effort, it's easer to just let the dough fully dry and then use the included pick on the end of the cleaning brush to just scrape away the dried bits out of the die.In all I really love the machine and have pretty much stopped buying store-bought dried pasta and always make it fresh when I'm in the mood!

Macaroni, Even Basic Spaghetti Easy
If you love homemade pasta, and want macaroni instead of linguini, this for you. Fits my Cuisinart mixer, as well as Kitchenaid. If you have a similar accessory drive shaft, it should fit. Works perfectly, has a wire cutter as the pasta extrudes, and various pasta macaroni shapes, such as elbow. Even has a standard spaghetti, die. Mostly plastic but well made. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. I don't trust it in a dishwasher but it is easy to take apart and clean. Easy to use. Short learning curve.

Great addition to pasta making
It is very easy to install and use. My husband not a fan of thin spaghetti so this makes macaroni and thicker noodles. It works smoothly and is fast. I always have pasta dough in freezer. Defrost in am pasta dinner pm. Easy to clean small learning curve. Nice addition to all my kitchenAid attachments.

Good cost effective alternative.
Although it is largely made of plastic, it feels heavy and well constructed. I appreciate the inclusion of the cleaning brush and believe it will be a much more cost effective alternative to the KitchenAid option that is way overpriced.

Great pasta machine
This pasta maker works great! Is my first attempt at pasta making and my first spaghetti was awesome. Would like some sort of reading on technique for how to handle the pasta as it comes out. Iām learning by trial and error but it tastes good. Lol. The actual pasta gadget is very well built. Easy to assemble and work. Then clean up is quick.

Amazing Product -- Highly Recommend!
Great attachment for my KitchenAid mixer. Made rice noodles and the process was easy to assemble and take off. Please remove every part carefully to wash thoroughly. They have used strong materials and it is sturdy. Recommend to anyone who wants to go little further to make noodles at home. š

YUMMY!!! My first homemade pasta attempt - it was fantastic using this attachment with my KitchenAid
I have been making bread with my KitchenAid so I wanted to venture into making my own pasta. I picked up this product to make different types of pasta. My first attempt was using the Pasta Press to make tagliatelle noodles! They turned out FANTASTIC! I will never use store bought pasta again. Don't be fooled - Pasta Press looks complicated when you open the box, but it was amazingly easy to use! I cannot believe how quickly I was able to become a pasta pro! My guests absolutely loved the end result - it tasted incredible!
