Can't wash in dishwasher
I had to buy these twice. The first pair I tired washing in dishwasher and it misshaped them. That is my fault but feel others should know before buying. Second pair was handwashed and we are using to transport spaghetti sauce. No problems so far.

Use them for reloading supplies
If your an outdoorsman or into reloading I would highly suggest grabbing a few of these. This will fit about 40lbs of shotgun shot in them. Sturdy and fits a bag of wads perfectly.Ideal for cleaning up the reloading bench.

It holds stuff
This is being used for my daughter's pop tab collection. It's a gallon and it holds stuff. The walls are thin, so I would avoid anything that may develop pressure. And the lid does not have any sort of additional seal.

Had to return
The item came and was exactly as advertised and was perfect for what I needed. However it came with scuff marks on it. but, it was easily and promptly returnable and refundable, that's why the 4 stars.

Bought for my parents
Purchased to replace glass jars of same size. Good product...pricey but I do not understand why. I bought through Amazon so they could be delivered to my parents that live several hours from me and that they could not find locally. Last time I bought similar at a local discount store, I paid ~ $3 each jar.
