Bahco BE-9882S Insulated Ergo VDE Screwdriver Set, Slotted/Pozidriv, 5 Pieces

I was needing a few insulated drivers for my tool kit at home, having been issued with this set a few years ago at work, I knew they'd fit my needs. Very comfortable to use, they fit in your hand nicely and allow you to get plenty of torque on what you're working on. I know they'll last me a decent amount of time too as they're well made.These are meant for electrical work, cable terminals in sockets, switches, consumer units etc. If you're looking for something to screw no.12 screws into wood or brick, these are not the drivers you want. They'll do it but you will damage them with that sort of abuse over time.All in all, an excellent set of drivers at a very reasonable price.

I hesitated when ordering these as they seemed quite expensive compared to some of the other insulated screwdriver sets that were available.I have only used a couple of them so far but have found them to be far superior to the other screwdrivers I have. I am not sure what it is but somehow they just seem to fit the screws better and feel very comfortable in my hand.A quality set of insulated screwdrivers and in hindsight well worth the money.

Great product

I needed a second screwdriver set inside the house, I already have Wera ones in the shed which has more pieces but it's well used, slightly battered and with paint etc stains on them. I wanted a smaller set inside the house so I don't need to put on my crocs to get a screwdriver, I also prefer having a cleaner set inside the house. I like them being insulated and not too thick (I rated thickness 5/5). I actually have also 2 stubby screwdrivers in case of a tight space. The thinner ones would work well also with a electric appliances such as computers and light fittings.However I thought these were 'made in Sweden' but it has 'Spain' on it, which is slightly worrying and I removed one star as I thought Bahco is a Swedish brand known for Swedish steel and has had an excellent reputation. I expect these to last at least as long as my Wera ones which are over 6 year old. One of the Wera flatheads is actually chipped, I think it's the one without the lasertip in the Wera set.

Always worth paying that little extra for quality tools.

These are simply brilliant screwdrivers. The grip you get on these things are amazing. If you look after them and don't use them for knocking things with an hammer they'll last a lifetime.
