SteensRichmond 2 Plus 3 Deep Chest of Drawers, Cream & Pine, Cream and Pine

Attractive and sturdy piece of furniture once built. Decent useful size. Instructions not brilliant and time consuming to complete, not helped by missing lock nut. I had to buy extra so wasted time and money.

When this chest of drawers first arrived, I was really pleased with it. It went together well and looked really lovely. After less than a year the drawer runners have needed replacing after very little use and the seller has not responded any any emails requesting spares. Disappointing.

These drawers look very nice, and don't look cheap. My hubby tells me it was relatively easy to put together. The drawers slide quite easily and it's a nice height. I love the bun feet look, to me it looks stylish but I know we all have different tastes, and although I measured length and depth I didn't think of the height but I'm not disappointed. When put together its quite heavy so if you intend to move it around do what I did and put the carcass where you want it, then add all the drawers.I did have a bit of a mix-up with delivery and I did order the cream and pine. However, when the all pine set arrived I decided to keep it, and I'm glad I did as I'm really pleased with the result. Please don't be put off by my remark about the delivery because this is the first time I've had a delivery go awry.

Good quality wooden furniture, bought it for my daughter's bedroom. Love the deep drawers and the style and finish is of a high standard. Not sure if it is our fault or something is a bit off in the already drilled bits, but the top big drawer doesn't stay completely closed on a left side, it kind of pushes itself out. Feels like something is not perfectly aligned. You cannot exactly see it if you do not know, still a bit annoying.And the assembly time of 2 hours they state is a very optimistic estimation, in reality it will take double long. And I completely agree with other reviewers about being very careful, while assembling as here are some points (like the runners for drawers), where you really need to think so you do not go the wrong way.Still would buy again.

We have some of this range of bedroom furniture but we needed these drawers. The delivery was very good as are the drawers which were quite easy to put together although instructions were not brilliant you could only tell which was the front of drawers on the diagram were by the top, which is curved. The worst bit for me was one of the top small drawer had bits of paint missing on it, I should have told manufacturer but wasn't sure where to get in touch with them ( I'm new to this online ordering) I am pleased with the and I put them together by myself except I needs help a couple of times from my husband just to hold it for me. Hope this is useful to other people. C. R.

Easy to assembly good quality

The drawers did take a good few hours to assemble and were a bit wobbly until the drawers are in place. Also just to say that the rear of the unit is not of the same material as the sides it is two pieces of hardboard fixed with panel pins.

Yes you do get what you pay for, but with a little care(and a touch of wood glue)you end up with a nice unit. Would cost three times at a well known no veneer in ere shop.
