Sturdy, portable and very useful - especially if you have lots of medium sized logs
This product allows a great number of branches to be loaded between the upright posts and held in position by the yellow bar. Then you just trim the ends off and then cut between the bars. 10 medium logs cut in a few minutes without having to put down the chainsaw. Also can hold 2 or 3 much larger logs. I found out why the yellow is needed on the first time I used it when a 2-inch branch was whipped back by the chainsaw but was held by the bar.A second yellow bar would be useful.Excellent product and very sturdy. Assembly took me 40 minutes. Beware : the first part of the assembly uses 4 self-tapping screws to secure the legs to the upright bars. They are a swine to put in by hand - even with the pre-drilled holes - so I would recommend using a decent drill-driver. The rest is plain sailing.

Great product.
Why didn’t I buy one years ago! I was nearly put off by the reviews that criticised the way it went together, but I’m glad I ignored them! It took me 15mins and it was easy. It’s a great design and works well. I agree with one of the reviews in so far as another top holding bar would be good, or the option to buy one at least?

Excellent sawhorse
Great product; easy to assemble, easy to store (folds flat). No sharp edges or pinch points. Clamp holds timber in place as you cut so logs can’t jump out at you, as long as you use it properly.Only one quibble: considering cost, I think Wolfcraft should pre-treat wooden components rather than advising user to do this after purchase. If you’re going to treat timber, do it prior to assembly- easier and more effective!

Perfect example of a real German craftsmanship!
Excellent tool! Expensive, but it is worth every penny, and it is much cheaper than a similar Oregon one.Easily foldable, but it is very stable during the work.Perfect example of a real German craftsmanship.Self-tapping screws need some effort though.I was cutting both armfuls of twigs, and 11" logs with no effort, like a piece of cake!It is a real pleasure to work with a decent tool like a Wolfcraft Saw Horse.

Saves a lot of time
Very useful piece of equipment. Need to make sure the logs are approximately 4 feet. Any longer and they are not as well balanced for cutting. Saves a lot of time, just having to make a couple of cuts produces a quick pile of logs. The yellow clamp bar across the top is fine when using thick logs, the problems occur if the logs you are cutting are thinner and lighter, then there is a tendency for them to spin a little. If you stick to heavier logs then all is fine. Very pleased and it folds away nicely afterwards.!

Does the job
When I took this out of the box I was a bit dubious, but it took no time to put together, though it would have been quicker if I had got my socket set out rather than use an adjustable spanner, but that's my fault for using the kitchen drawer tool kit. Good and sturdy and does the job. All I can ask for really. Logging just got a lot easier.

When it arrived the package was pretty heavy, opening it you could see it was ...
I purchased this item back in march in order to cut up some hawthorn, blackthorn, tree branches and other types of wild bush. I was al little sceptical when I was waiting for delivery of the item, I thought by looking at on Amazon that it might not be made of strong enough steel and that it might bend or warp after some cutting. I looked at various videos on youtube and it looked ok. When it arrived the package was pretty heavy, opening it you could see it was well packaged in order not to be damaged on transit. The quality of the product is much better than I thought it would be, the frame is sturdy and strong and the legs are wide enough to ensure that it wont topple over. Assembling the product is straightforward, but I would suggest having a second person holding it for you as insert the bolts. I first placed the saw horse on flat even ground then I began to load branches, in order to get the maximum cut and good balance you must build the branches on with the longest at the bottom and shortest at top. Whether I was right or wrong I piled on branches and trunks that were at least twelve foot, and the saw horse held up no problem. Looking at he brochure you would think every branch was nice and straight, but in reality they are twisty and awkward. I began to cut the longest by cutting off a few limbs on the left of the saw horse then moving to the right side, and cutting off a few limbs there in order to maintain balance. You soon catch up with the shortest trunks/branches were you can cut them all in a line to the required length. All in all a good product. Why I only give it 4/5 is because the yellow stopper that is used to hold the wood in place is just not good enough. I had to stop a few times because of kick back and really jam it down in order to hold the wood in place. I think Wolfcraft could come up with something a bit more safer and trustworthy like chains on each frame were you could ratchet it tight. Remember folks to wear PPE at all times.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung

The media could not be loaded.
