We have officially gotten rid of all the plastic in our home. No more plastic cups, Tupperware, plates, etc. The goal is to decrease my family’s exposure to microplastics. I was initially skeptical of getting these Pyrex containers because the lids don’t have the “locking” mechanism that the others have on Amazon. However, these lids hold tight! I am very impressed. See picture where I have a full container of Brussels sprouts and turned it upside down.

Love these glass storage containers. Threw out my old yucky plastic ones. Leftovers seems so much better. Think these are a much healthier solution to food storage. This is my second set. Highly recommend.

I've used these Pyrex lidded bowls for a few years now. I probably purchased my first set at Walmart, and I've always been happy with them. I recently got rid of my plastic food storage containers in light of the well-publicized health concerns (my doctor was the first one to warn me about xenoestrogens in some plastics). I bought three sets of these from Amazon due to the free shipping and great price (part of the 4 for 3 promotion!) One bowl had a small chip on the rim, but it wasn't bad enough to hassle with a return. What was more disappointing was the fit of the lids - unlike my old set, some of these lids are extremely tight and take a ridiculous amount of effort to snap into place! The plastic seems harder and more rigid than the plastic on the older lids. On some, I've had to put the lids in the microwave to soften them up enough to stretch. I think they've loosed up a bit from use and hope they will continue to. Despite the glitch, it's still worthwhile to be able to store my food in glass. When necessary, I use wax paper over the surface of the food to prevent contact with the plastic.****03/05/2011 - I've used these for awhile now, so I'm editing the review. I'm happy to report that the tight lids *did* loosen up over time. I now have no issue getting them on to the containers. Regarding the chipped bowl, the damage on that one continued to get much worse over time. These aren't your typical rounded "oyster" chips - the glass seems brittle and has sheared off in long pieces along the rim. It makes me wonder how much of that glass may have ended up in my food! Luckily, of the 2 sets of these bowls I purchased, this has only been a problem with one bowl. So, my advice to everyone else is to simply toss any piece that shows this type of damage, as it will only get worse. Otherwise, I am still quite happy with my purchase.

Pyrex always stands the test of durability and use. Worth the money, and love the covers!!

Fácil prácticos y muy lavables, no guardan malos olores

I'm very happy to add these to my collection of Pyrex storage containers. Although the lids are plastic, I've never had a problem with them and they wash up very well in some soap and water. I prefer glass because you know it's getting clean when you wash it either by hand or in the D/W. They look good and I like the size variety. The smallest is quite small, but it's perfect for small things that people might otherwise toss out like left over gravy or sauce, shredded cheese, etc.

Extremely versatile and bonus lids are included. Durable and dishwasher safe. Excellent quality & price point.They will last for years.

Estoy fascinada con esos contenedores, tengo tiempo sustituyendo todos mis recipientes de plástico por vidrio, incluyendo en los que me llevo mi lunch godin, y estos la vdd son súper gruesos, las tapas sellan muy bien, aunque no los he probado transportandolos con líquido, pero los he volteado y nada fuga.Tienen muy buena capacidad y son súper ahorradores de espacio por qué los puedo guardar uno adentro del otro incluyendo las dos tapas chicas y la grande cómo base.Los encontré a un súper precio, estos mismos contenedores están en mas de 200 cada uno en el súper, y aquí por lo 3 pagué aprox 290.De vdd los recomiendo, hasta pagaría precio completo.
