Sierra electric Motion sensor light
The light works as well and is good value and I have had one and using as a backup porchlight and given that I had installed it flat against the ceiling of our porch it works very good. However I just purchased another light for a back door and have two complaints. One, there is no way to adjust the view angle of the motion sensor eyes as noted in the directions and although it has an acceptable angle of range when approaching a doorway it has virtually no virtical range. I mounted the fixture above the door as suggested by manufacture instructions between 7 and 8 ft above ground. I am 6-4 and the motion detector didn't detect me approaching the door until I held my hand up level to the eye. I had to losen the mounting screws and set some spacers behind the top of the unit to create angle the unit and pitch the motion eye down angle. I am not sure if this unit is defective but by jerry rigging this unit I was able to make it acceptable. Two and not a huge issue but worth noting, the light does not come with mounting screws not a big deal but was a point of agrivation having to hunt and peck around to find two screws with the small head for mounting. I spent a good hour mouting this light that should have taken 10 minutes.

Does what it says and the price is right
I bought this to go over my front door and turn it on only when I'm away for a while and don't want to leave the porch light on.It is big and it's cumbersome, but once mounted it does exactly what I needed. When I get within about 15 feet, it comes on and provides a nice, soft bluish light that is more than adequate for me to see where I'm walking and get my keys out and unlock the door. I've tested it at night and it goes off within 30 seconds.Since it's mounted above the door, I can easily turn it on and off as needed so it doesn't waste batteries on stray dogs, wind, etc.The hinge is a little loose, so I'm looking at ways to remedy that. When not using it I keep it shut so it's just a black box above the door. When I want to use it I simply flip it up and hit the "on" switch as I'm leaving. It has its drawbacks, sure, but for $11 it does what I want it to do and I can't complain.

Not photosensitive
I looked at this light and another months ago. I decided to buy the other light back then because the description stated it was photosensitive and this light didn't. I still needed to light up a hallway at night as I made my way to my bedroom. A year ago I bought a different battery-operated motion light but ended up using it in my storage trailer because it was not photosensitive. So I bought this one a week ago because it STATED IN DESCRIPTION: "Motion Sensor Light seven bright, photosensitive LED lights automatically turn on when you approach in the dark and shut off ten seconds later." BEWARE this IS NOT photosensitive and it will light up as you pass it DAY or NIGHT. The description has several incorrect statements in it that other customers have covered; just not this 1-requirement I was looking for.

Motion light works fine but not enough light
I bought this item so that i can put it on top of my door where no one can see it at first glance (like the picture on the item). but the light is so soft that it doesn't even reaches the key entry. And also the motion doesn't catch any one from that distance. so i had to put it near the key place which now kind a look like a door bell. if you are looking for something where little light will do the job then go for this. but its not made for heavy duty or medium duty stuff. other than that every thing works just fine. turns off properly and wakes up if the motion sensor is right in front of you.

Automatic Nightlight
This is a great product. The cost was only $10 each. It works as described. The light is low intensity, and comes on when movement is detected, slowly shutting down within 30 seconds after movement stops. Is wonderful for closets or at night where you do not want normal lights to come on. Has an easy on-off switch to turn off during daylight hours. Draw backs - uses 3 "C" size batteries, and battery cost could mount up!; if mounted in a bathroom, will shut off after 30 seconds of no light - so be sure to mount in a location where the movement sensor will keep it lighted; hinge is not strong so it might be difficult to set the light portion at an angle. All in all, for $10 it is a great product.

serves as a keyhole finder
Its is exactly what its price for, I use this product for my front door only as a light so I could see my keyhole to stick the key in. The light output is not very bright in reference to lighting the entire driveway but it serves my purpose well. The light stays on for 30 to 45 seconds before its starts to dim down, you should position it no more than 4ft from the location of the keyhole due to the light output and the distance for the motion sensor. I'm satisfied and like the product but the only purpose for the product is really to give light to find the keyhole or the actual light switch on the wall.

Sierra Electric JB5293 Battery-Operated Motion-Sensor Entry Light
This light is nice and puts out a fair amount of light for a battery operated light. Easy to install, just two screws to put in the wall (even comes with plastic anchors if needed for drywall). My only complaint (I think it's kind of a big one) is the light is not made to stay up like it is pictured. There are no catch points for the light portion to lock on. when you mount it as pictured the light part falls down and does not work (puts out minimal light if the sensor even detects movement). I made a simple fix by placing my own stop on it (but I don't think the consumer should have to do this).

Sierra Electric JB5293 Motion Sensor Entry Light
I'm using this nifty little motion sensor light in my garage for almost 3 months now and Iam pleased with it's operation. It comes on at least 3 times per day and being I installed dollar store batteries they have lasted already 3 months. Cons: the description says it's a photosensitive light however mine comes on whether it is dark or not - I don't know why. Second the lights are on a door like hinge which don't like to stay in any position very well unless it's completely open at 180 degrees. It works, it's cheap, can't complain too much.
