The Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard Training Manual: As Used by Dad's Army

If you like the series you'll love this book. Different chapters are, supposedly, written by different characters and whoever wrote it caught their voices perfectly.You'll flick through the book rather than read it in one go. But it really is laugh out loud stuff. For fans of the series it's well worth getting.

This book had me in stitches in some parts as it is well presented and it created excellent mental images of the home guard boys performing these various actions.Highly recommended as it is very well constructed, and has clearly been put together with love and respect for the show we all know and love.

Bought as a Christmas present for someone who loves dads army, they was really happy with it and its actually quite detailed.

If you love Dad's Army or know someone that does... then this is a great momento to buy them. It is a collection of facts, scribbles and cuttings done as a facscimile which is slightly a shame - as if this was mocked up better it would be a stunning little book. However, I would recommend as it is a worthy read and gift.

Loved this! If you love Dads Army then you'll love this. The design is great and actually looks like something that would have been in their kit bags. Very interesting and a good gift idea :)

Amusing, but it really doesn't reach the heights of the original series.Cheap as chips though so I don't feel too disappointed?

Bought as gift for my dad as he's a HUGE dad's army fan. He finds it very funny and went down well. Thumbs up!
