Ego Death is The Internet's most evolved album to date, featuring guest appearances from the likes of Janelle Monae, Tyler, the Creator, and Vic Mensa. The band says Ego Death is about "being vulnerable and honest. It's about us growing up as a band and as individuals, and the challenges we're facing and learning from. It's about us acknowledging our egos and the egos around us, and using them the best way we know how." Ego Death was recorded in the band's hometown of Los Angeles. The album is a heady mix of confessions and come-ons, shiny Rhodes keyboard glimmers, chugging drums, slinking bass lines, and Syd's honeyed voice anchoring the mix. It's a record that connects the dots between Digable Planets, Erykah Badu's Baduizm, the warm, inviting breezes of the West Coast, and the stories that only happen very late at night or very early in the morning, all played by musicians who are carrying the soul torch for the new generation.

I really love this album from The Internet.I've briefly listened to some of their early stuff and their vibe has evolved into a spectacular album in Ego Death.I couldn't recommend this group highly enough.Their 2018 album Hive Mind is, to me at least, very much a continuation of the vibe on this album. And that's a good thing!

Sid's voice is lush
Really good Album actually it really like smooth but quirky hip hop a supposed to RnB in my opinion but I listen to it a lot. It's really different quite refreshing to hear a female lead in a group that sings about things the stuff a man would sing about and her voice is gorgeous! Listen! Give it ago!

Great Album
A total 5 in Soul/R&B, hip hop genre. Very good singing relaxing CD without being a boring CD.. Its uplifting and is a top record. Get it by confidence if like this blend of styles.

Amazing album, so good am bought back catalog of these artist.But this should be more out there! great to listen to, at any time of the day, and very awesome song writing.Worth the money, Classic album, in my opinion.
