My iMac was slowing down. I realized I had only the original 8k of memory in 2 slots. So I added 4 8k chips. It was easy and made such a difference.

iMac compatibility issues
Installed these in my 2017 iMac 27”. After install, Mac would shut down while using it. Took it in to Apple and they said these were the problem. Thought they were just trying to get me to upgrade thru them, so I didn’t believe them. Swapped the originals back in and no issues. So these are the problem. Now they are just sitting in a drawer, and my Mac is running fine. So beware if installing in an iMac.

Not working
I purchased it because it advertised as compatible with Apple iMac 2017 27" Retina 5K.I didn't really have a chance to upgrade my iMac's memory until yesterday, and it turned out, the memory is not working with the advertised iMac.Replaced the old memory with this - the iMac didn't boot.Put back the old memory - the iMac did boot as usual.Tried several times.This is extremely disappointing.Is there any chance to get refund?Thanks in advance,Imre
