Used it for the first time today to hard boil 14 eggs. Its a tight squeeze if your eggs are big, but definitely still fit. Took 15-20 mins, timer buzz is loud enough to hear in the next room. Eggs turned out great, but are VERY hot to the touch, so recommend waiting 20 mins or so before trying to remove or peel. Easy to clean, if you use tap water if will leave a bit of discoration on the bottom metal plate, but not much amd most came off when I cleaned it. Convenient device that I would say saves time and definitely water. Its smaller than you think it will be ,really doesnt take up much space storage wise

Works perfectly and easy to use. Will continue to cook if left under dome. Quick soak in cold water and eggs peel easily. Don't forget to use the shell oricker.

Apart from cleaning, it is a very good product. I like it very much. I use it constantly.

I'm not a gadget person so I hesitated to buy this egg cooker but I love it! It's so easy to use, takes less time than the traditional boiling-on-the-stove method, and I don't have to wash anything after. The timing of soft boiled eggs takes a little adjusting - I had to add a minute or two to thoroughly cook the inside - but all you need do is add a little more water and it's all good.

I had an ancient egg cooker for years and loved it but it gave up the ghost last month. I bought this little blue egg cooker in hopes it would be half as good as my old one. I am impressed at how easy it is to use. It is fast and does a good job. It comes with a little measuring cup that will give you light, medium or hard boiled eggs, depending on the amount of water you choose. The only drawback is that extra large eggs do not fit well. I tried to add 4 ex large eggs and the lid was a bit too small and had a slight gap along one side. I was able to cook them but I realize, now, that I can only use large eggs in this unit. That is fine, tho. I am happy with this purchase.

I wondered why anyone would buy a cooker,when you can simply boil eggs. But this is sooo easy to clean (a simplye wipe out with vinegar, keeps it as clean as a whistle! The plug acts as the on switch, so don't plug it in until you've set the eggs and fluids and are all set up to cook. The button on the front turns off the beeper, which is activated when the water boils dry and the eggs are done and the unit shuts itself off and stops cooking. Even though the unit is done cooking and automatically shuts off, the beeper won't stop until you hit the button on the front. NOW I know why people buy this...so very easy to use and you don't have to use a pot with a lot of water boiling and possibly boiling dry, with no alarm, if you forget it and are busy doing something else.

Great product. I wish I knew this existed before. I have never successfully poached an egg myself, so this is what caused me to buy the item. Nor am I very successful with getting runny yokes. This makes breakfast so easily. Highly recommended. One thing that will probably be necessary is to adjust the amount of water. It appears the device is designed for cooking small to medium eggs and as many households buy large/extra large, you'll need to add just a little more water to the measuring cup to avoid undercooking (not too much, unless you want hard yokes). Cannot beat this for $20. That is about what I usually spent weekly buying lousy fast food breakfasts!
