The Art of Vampire Knight: Matsuri Hino Illustrations

Now I am not a Vampire Knight fan althought I do enjoy the series quite a bit. I fell in love with the art though. The characters have beautiful, unique features and their eyes are..... wow, hence I purchased this book due to my love for Matsuri Hino's art!The delivery was great! I ordered this on the 12th October and it got dispatched the following day. It got delivered to my door on Thursday 17th instead of Friday 18th October so the time frame was respected! The illustration book came in immaculate condition with no scratches or tears. The packaging was neat and protected the product extremely well!The book is amazing. The art in this is breath taking. The book consists of 93 pages of coloured (yes coloured!) artwork. The pages are smooth and have a sheen shine to them. The quality is brilliant and the pages are thick. All the characters are represented, and there are various poses and expressions drawn in the book.I would recommend this to anyone as it is a beautiful and well made illustration book; a true quality piece and well worth the price!

I absolutely love the book I couldn't wait to have a look in it the only thing is, having a closer look at the book there has been a dent in it, I'm still giving a 5 star as it's still worth the money , I think it was probably down to transit than anything else. However I'm still very pleased with it over all.

i bought this for myself as I love the manga series and the fan book  Vampire Knight Official Fanbook: 1  so I thought why not and I was expecting a paper back A5 book, I was VERY wrong. Its came in the post and i found a hard cover book with a cover over that an dwas just bigger than A4. each page has a beautiful glossy image created by the vampire knight creater. There is also a part wich shows you haow its done and has got a poster to go wit it.It is deffinetly worth it and above all expections and I find myself looking through it whenever I get the chance

Packaged really well, the artwork inside is gorgeous. If you're a fan of vampire knight, you must add it to your collection.

This is a beautiful art book, brimming with full colour illustrations of the VK characters (mostly Yuki, Kaname and Zero as you'd expect) in a variety of themes and locales. A superb present for any fan of the artist or of course the anime series. My wife was very happy when I gave it to her for her birthday :)

Christmas present

If you're looking for a good artbook then you've found one (providing of course that you like VK!) I wasn't sure what to expect but it was good value for money. The pictures are good quality with accompanied comments in the back section of the book and a section on how she designs her pictures. Hope this review was helpful.

this book has some beautiful artwork and is from the first anime i watched so was excited getting this. lived up to expectations

I'm in love with its details that is so high quality and interesting to read and gaze at Matsuri's art progress as she develops the story and style for Vampire Knight. I love the pullout page spread as well!

Really worth the money!! Let me tell you right now, the quality of this is beautiful. Not only are the illustrations just breathtaking, but the cover, size and quality of the paper used is great. There is a poster (of the book cover art) included, and a section at the end where Matsuri Hino shows how she illustrated the cover art, step by step (including pics of the Copic markers she uses and everything.) I’m really glad I bought this! For anyone who is a fan of vampire knight, it’s a must have (and maybe even a good Christmas/birthday gift idea!) - first pic is one of my fave drawings in the book -

Ich liebe Vampire Knight seit meiner Teenager Zeit und hatte schon Ewigkeiten vor, mir dieses Artbook zu kaufen. Dort gibt es einige Exlusive Artworks dieich vorher noch nie gesehen habe. Umso cooler ist auf den letzten Seiten aufjedenfall eine Art Guide, indem Matsuri Hino den Zeichenprozess für eines meiner Lieblingsbilder festgehalten hat. Mit Infos zu Farben, Materialien und kleinen Infos zu jedem Bild.Kann ich nur empfehlen!
