These are lovely to work with, very vibrant and have a high pigment content. They dissolve easily in water and can be layered over when dry to produce amazing paintings. The presentation box is well made and keeps the contents safe when not in use. Although they are quite expensive, the pigment goes a long way and they do not wear down very quick. After producing several paintings the wear on used sticks are hardly noticeable. These are a must for every artist and I would definitely recommend them.

The quality of this product is absolutely outstanding and is guaranteed to give the best results in regard to colour and brightness. It's a true pleasure to work with. This experience is based on another set I have of these Neocolor II crayons.Sadly this beautifully crafted wooden box which would been a treasure among my art supplies, had to be returned because seller (buy-for-less-online) didn't bother to package the item at all, let alone use any protective material which caused the box to arrive with several crayons completely broken in two. The return was obviously accepted, and the return shipping costs - over 20 euros! - were promised in writing to be refunded, only to be denied again after the box had been returned. Seller became rude and closed the case, stating that they would have refunded the shipping costs had I dealt with them directly and not through Amazon (?!) - inspite of several e-mail messages confirming the refund of the entire shipping costs. Hence this was a disappointing and costly deal in the end!So I would buy this item again in the future, but definitely not from this seller!

Great for colour sketches working out colour ideas for later oil painting. I do sketches on A5 Seawhite all media sketching book. As the Neoncolour II crayons are wax-based they do not need fixative or smudge in my sketchbook.

Love these pastels. They are waterbased so it's a really unique pastel to work with as most are oil based or hard pastels. I love that you can add water to blend them so easily and that you can even create drips with them on a canvas. The case they come in is also amazing and very high quality. I'd definitely recommend these for anyone who wants to try more mixed media techniques.

Dry or wet amazing colors,texture and brightness! I had a coupon which really helped justify the cost however these will last a long time, especially if you scrape them and save your palettes
