As a child every 6 month checkup always was the same - 4-5 cavities and a ride home with my parents yelling at me to stop eating so many sweets so they can save money. I haven't had any cavities for about 4 years but now in my early 20s every time I go I always had to pay $700-800 per visit because of receding gums. Right now I have about 6 or 8 places where the gums have receding greatly and the dentists had to put a film over. I was researching about what causes receding gums and what happens if left untreated (aka surgery) which I am definitely not in the mood nor the financial position for. Ever since my wisdom teeth removal I found that my gums would often feel sensitive to cold and hot stuff. I couldn't even eat a single spoon of ice cream in the summer, or have a nice cold glass of sprite. I couldn't even eat ramen or nice hot soup in the winter without feeling discomfort.I ordered this product as a last resort treatment, and I'm pretty impressed with what it's doing. I love the herbal flavor, I used to have herbal medicine a lot when I was a kid and still do take them from time to time when my anxiety and hormonal disorders flare up. Every night right before bed I put three drops in my mouth, swish like a mouthwash for 60-90 seconds, spit out, use my toothbrush to clean out my tongue, and go to sleep. I'm a heavy tea drinker and I've been doing this for about a month and haven't seen staining at all (for reference I drink 2-3 cups a day of heavily steeped tea - nearly impossible to see the bottom of the cup). My gums no longer feel sensitivity and I can now eat hot foods and drinks without wincing in discomfort.Since the receding gums already have a film over them they don't seem to go back up to their normal position, however if i didn't have those on my gums I am positively sure that my gums would have definitely returned to their normal, healthy form.This product is also good for acid reflux. I used to have sleepless nights where I couldn't fall asleep cause I would hear my heart fluttering and palpitating, and sometimes would gasp for breath. I would constantly feel on edge because of that. I couldn't even eat and if I did I would feel like barfing, even with Tums. Now I don't feel like that when I go to sleep. My digestive system functions normally now and I don't have sleepless nights where I'm up because I feel like barfing or my heart feels like it's pounding.I highly recommend this product.

I wanted to write this review after I had used this for about a month to see if it really worked. Before I started using it I had very painful receding gums. Hot/cold temperatures, brushing, and any type of touching near the exposed area sent me through the roof with a sharp pain. I didn't want to have grafting surgery so I figured I'd try this as a last resort.Let me say it WORKS. I brush with a soft bristled brush with toothpowder, floss, then swish with this. I found it is most effective NOT rinsing it when you're done as you want it to sit on your gums for as long as possible. I swish two droppers full for about a minute, spit it out and go to bed. Doing this for a month has not only "puckered up" my gums, reducing the area exposed, but I don't get any pain now when brushing or consuming anything hot/cold. I am hoping with continued use my gums will continue to repair themselves. There is still sensitivity if I try and touch the exposed area with a scraper but that area is much less now.Another thing I wasn't expecting was how well it removes plaque. Not sure if it is because of the astringent quality of the sap, but the best way I can describe it is it seems to stick to, then dissolve, the plaque. Once a week I will swish and take a tooth scraper to clean the dissolved plaque off my teeth. I still have all my wisdom teeth so this has helped incredibly with keeping them clean.Not a lot of products really blow me away but this one I will be using from now on indefinitely! I bought this on the reviews of others who said it worked for their receding gum issues. But then I read some reviews that it was good for tightening facial skin and it might help other skin issues. Yes, Yes, and Yes! Ok, yes it tastes horrible but the gum results are simple astonishing! First I floss my teeth and then brush and then either rinse my mouth with it swirling it around or rub it directly on my gum spots (twice a day) You will see results in about 5-7 days. I use it mixed half and half with water under my eyes for my wrinkles and it has been healing some odd skin abnormalities on my face. Would I recommend this YES! This is like your swiss army knife of needs for your medicine cabinet! It does so much more! Google it! And this brand is pure!
