FINALLY I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT MONITOR!!!!
Right!!! Let's get something straight...I have wasted a fortune on baby monitors over the past three years and unfortunately I have always gone on what had the most reviews...and motorolla always has the most!! Do not buy one of them!!! I have had nothing but problems with them! I could list the lengthy list of issues but I am here to review this monitor so shall get on with it!! Two words...BUY IT!!!! Yes it's more expensive but1. The picture quality is astonishing!!2. No horrible noise static to keep you awake3. Easy peasy to useSo to put it simply this is by far the best monitor I have bought, and I have had at least 5 so trust me when I tell you to buy this over the other useless ones on the market!Definitely worth every penny!!!Also it helps that the which magazine gives it fantastic reviews x

Good quality video
Very good, but if something goes wrong, not very helpful for fixing.

Do not buy this monitor, because if it fails ...
Do not buy this monitor, because if it fails after 3 months (like mine has), there is no UK support. As it stands, I am out of pocket.I contacted Luvion (which is based in the Netherlands), and their support told me to contact my seller (in this case it was Amazon UK Marketplace seller 'Giftboxx'). However, Giftboxx are also absolving themselves of responsibility too.I will be contacting Amazon in due course to see what my rights are.Update: 11/10/2015 - The initial problem I had was with a loose charging socket, which I managed to fix by jamming a cocktail stick to holder the charging socket in place. Now I have a new problem - the battery on this device has failed and refuses to charge. I would not advise buying this monitor!

Fantastic Baby Monitor
Fantastic monitor, sound is clear, camera is clear and smooth to control, can turn screen off at night, can lock the unit so you don't accidently turn things on and off when fumbling at night, has a pleasant nightlight which can be remotely turned on/off. Very highly recommended. I owned and returned two Motorola units (power socket eventually failed) so went for the Which Recommended Luvion, so glad I did

Great functionality, let down by poor ergonomics - and its those that really count on a baby monitor
I'm hoping this review is going to be useful for prospective buyers, but also for the manufacturer to help them refine what could be a very good product.I so wanted to love this monitor! We've had a Summer Baby Infant monitor for 3.5 years, but with a new baby imminent, it failed recently. Apart from that, it's been pretty perfect to be honest. However, I re-researched the market (3.5 years is a long time for a piece of tech) and found this Luvion getting good reviews. It also seemed to have some interesting new features (night light, plays melodies, can take pictures and video - and can view on mobile devices with the purchase of the additional wi-fi bridge docking unit). Despite being happy with the Summer, and being someone who's a bit of a gadget nerd - I decided to purchase despite the significant extra cost.Everything looked good on paper, and when the unit arrived - it appeared to be of good quality. But during / and after set-up the 'cracks' started to appear, and ultimately I have returned it for refund and have again ordered the Summer Infant product. The problem is that it's all very well having a great feature set - but if you get the core ergonomics wrong- actual use of the product is a pain.I'm going to list the pro's and con's from our perspective (you may or may not agree), and based on our prior experience with a baby monitor.Pro's:- great, cutting edge feature set - ability to view on mobile phones across the net very handy!- good unit product quality- nice large screen, with decent image qualityCon's:- power adapter / lead is black (ugly in a nursery) and way too short. Summer's is white with a MUCH longer lead - giving much better camera placement flexibility- the screen on / off button is very difficult to distinguish from the other buttons in the dark (i.e. when you lean over in the night and just want to press the button to take a quick look - probably while half asleep! - it's relatively tricky to find. This is because it is right next to another set of buttons and is only marginally bigger than them - also, it doesn't 'stick out' as obviously as on the Summer product)- The monitor has a fair amount of 'static interference noise' when the volume is turned up. This is fine when you are trying to listen to the noise the baby/child is making - but not when you are trying to sleep at night - so you tend to turn the volume right down - and then turn it up when you hear some kind of noise - to find out what it actually is. This is the same on the Summer Infant (and I imagine most other) product. Problem with the Luvion is that the volume button is right next to the 'play melody' button ! Doh! So again, the chances of you reaching across in the dark at night and hitting the melody button (and probably fully waking your child up - are quite high) unfortunately- lastly - when the unit is plugged in at night - there are two bright LED's always showing - one for the first light of the soundbar, and one to show charging. If the unit is on your bedside table - this can be annoying (at least, if you're my wife...she does not like bright LED's constantly showing)So there we go - a real shame - potentially great product just let down by poor ergonomics on some of the things that unfortunately, in practice, really matter.

Good monitor with a couple of issues
This is not cheap but it works well and the resolution and image both day and night is very good.Easy to setup and use out of the box. I was fully up and running in a few minutes.Couple of issues; If you want to view this over your smartphone you have to pay for a separate ‘WiFi bridge’. For the money paid it’s disappointing this is not included. Also the battery life on the monitor is very poor - about 3 to 4 hours tops. This means you need to pretty much keep it plugged in which isn’t ideal.Overall it’s a good buy though, but the need to purchase a separate unit to view on smartphone is pretty annoying.EDIT - just over 6 months after purchase my monitor is now not holding a charge and needs to be plugged to the mains permanently in order to work. Very disappointing for a product of this cost.

It might be expensive, but it is worth it.
There is no doubt that this is one of the most expensive monitors out there .... but for once, I'm happy to say this product is actually worth it. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Easy to setup, easy to use and the multi-camera feature is great.

Easier to sleep train your baby with this camera
Our nanny recommended to buy a camera when we tried to sleep train our baby. No need to go see her every time she cries. Practical power save mode that turns the screen on only when baby makes a noise. The monitor has quite a big range and we are very happy with our purchase.
