My knees are not the best in the world and every day 2 times a day I have to kneel down and put a leash on my little dog to walk him then return home and kneel down again to remove his leash. Thats 4 times a day minimum that I use this pad, and I just have to say it's great.I also use this around the house and in my garage. I have tile floors and sometimes when you have to kneel down to get things out of the bottom of cabinets it's extremely hard on the knees but not anymore thanks to this new Alara pad. I've had other brands over the years but this one seems to be the most comfortable and easy to use.I feel that I have made a smart purchase and I feel that this pad is worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone. I think I might just have to buy another one so I can keep one inside the house and one out in the garage.

Omg I wish I knew this thing existed long ago! I'm always kneeling in the yard to pick weeds and stuff like that but I also kneel a lot in the house when I have to clean. Most of my house is tiled but even on the carpeted areas, my knees would KILLLL me after a matter of minutes. I would try to use towels but that didn't really help. THIS THING IS AWESOME! Simple concept but it really helps take the pressure off. I also like that I can easily hose the dirt off after using it outside. I saw some other ones online but the reviews complained about them being too thin or too small so went with this brand because it's thicker and seemed like it would last longer. I also received it quicker than I thought I would. Getting another one for my mom who is an avid gardener! No complaints so far.

Purchased for husband to use kneeling on hardwood floor to light gas log fireplace. He says it works great & the pleasantly neutral gray color stores very discreetly tucked between our gray ikea tv stand & the side of the fireplace. Don't think anyone would even notice it there if we didn't pull it out to use it or point it out to them.Don't think I would take it out into the yard because I wouldn't want it to get dirty or worn looking, but I might buy a second one for a spring yard project that will likely involve a lot of kneeling.

I was expecting something a tad softer and more comfortable. It's a sturdy, rigid mat and I suppose if it were softer it wouldn't provide the support that it currently does. Nothing wrong with the mat or quality, just not what I had in mind.

It is light but very supportive. It is easy to grab along with tools when heading out to the yard. It is easy to clean. It provides comfort and support for my old knees. And at times it also provides comfort and back support when watching tv on my old couch.

What a difference this kneeling pad has made for me (us)! We have been using it to organize and shelve children's books on the lowest book shelves in our school library. At a 135 pounds, my knees press into it comfortably with plenty of thickness to still provide the needed protection from our carpeted concrete floors. The only problem is that its popularity among library helpers has made it hard to locate when needed! ;-) I will be purchasing at least one more.

Perfect. We have wood floors which require kneeling to clean, polish and repair. Also, cleaning baseboards, painting, etc. I will use this pad for all that, inside. Extra thick and non-slip surface. Large enough for my knees at 5' 11", with room to spare. You can push the piece out to make the handle or leave it in. Likley will get another one for outdoors that can get dirty with gardening.
