I Purchased this item in Dec 2018, i travel a lot and this has been a life saver! It can be, and i have, secured it to headboards, chairs, tables, ironing boards, doors, bedside cabinets and the list goes on. To secure you screw in the base of the product, which tightens the two securing clips. This allows you to add or remove pressure as needed. When securing please be weary of what you are securing it to, i have a faux leather headboard and this will leave an indent for a period of time after use.I use this with my iPhone 8+ and that is probably about the limit of what it can support in weight and size. With this size phone i can't use the full extent of the flexi tube as it's to heavy, but it's still sufficient enough to hold my phone whilst i watch Netflix.After a year of use this product still functions well and i would recommend.

Very difficult to use, bought as a present for my teenage daughter so she could watch things on her phone in bed, but she found it kept slipping and was more hassle than it was worth.

The flexible arm broke after 6 months. It secures to the desk well, but over time my s7 weighs it down and the arm droops. So almost every day I'd have to raise it up again causing it to break at the base.

It’s exactly what it says. Some parts like the plastic vice grip were a bit flimsy but definitely does the job and fulfills the requirement so I’m happy.
