Love this. Good quality, practical and attractive

I really like the look of this tamper station, but it only does half the job I bought it for.I wanted something nice to hold my portafilter and tamper etc., and it does that - but I can't actually use it for tampering. The hole for the portafilter holder is marginally too wide, meaning it doesn't hold it stable; any form of pressure causes the portafilter to tip into the hole. For just resting/displaying the accessories I was able to solve this by sticking felt dots just inside the hole for the portafilter where the 'wings' sit, but it's definitely not a solution that allows for tamping. My portafilter is the 58mm Breville one that came with my Oracle Touch.The other thing is, after about a week I noticed a strange mark on the side of the station almost in the seal/coating - like the finish had cracked or been heat damaged or something, but it wasn't something that could have happened with where it was or how we were using it. I was able to return it and ordered a new one only because it's the nicest one I've been able to find for our kitchen style.As others have seen, the brand is on the back of mine (both damaged and replacement) - not underneath.Otherwise it's very solid, the feet allow it to move easily when you want it to, and it looks nice.

I have a bottomless portafilter and this is perfect for using a jack leveler. It holds it level so I can spin the jack leveler for a nice puck. I love being able to store the leveler and tamper.

Negatives:- Hole diameter too big for Gaggia Classic Pro portafilter. Need 7.00 mm, hole is 7.50 mm.- Pads on bottom are felt-like, not rubber. Will move.- Rubber inserts are glued in (can’t remove), and two of them are not flat against the bottom.- Logo is on the back, not on the bottom, as shown in the video.Positives:- Absolutely beautiful wood and finish.- Heavy-duty.- Should last a long time.
