Rose Ice Mold, Silicone Ice Cube Tray Rose Ice Molds for Cocktails Mimosas Whiskey Ice Cube Trays for Freezer

This silicon rose ice mold is super cute! The ice cubes come out great (sorry I am refilling now after using the first patch so didn't get a picture). The cubes are about 1 inch in diameter, so fairly small. I used 2-3 in one cocktail glass. The fill holes are very small and it does not come with a funnel. However, you can overfill and the extra water will stay contained in the top and freeze and not impact how the ice cubes come out.

I ordered this to make ice cubes for my niece's wedding shower. This item does exactly what the description says it does. The ice cubes are beautiful. If you add a little bit of food coloring, you can make them look unusual in drinks, like little floating flowers. I'm wondering if these molds would also be good to make candy. Because it is made of silicone, it is easy to remove the ice from it, which prevents chipping and breakage. My only complaint is that it is small and you can only make a few at a time. You would either have to purchase several to get the right amount for a party or start early and store them over time. Not sure how that would work though as they would stick together and could end up breaking. That's really my only complaint. It would be nice if it made more than nine. Otherwise, a great idea!

The roses I thought would be a cute spin off of the perfect sphere of a whiskey ball. These a really small though likt the size of regular ice cubes. I suppose it can still be fun but you'll need half of them for each drink, or maybe a couple on top of regular ice cubes just for the look.

Some of the product photos when ordering misrepresented the size of the rose ice molds roses. They are a little over an inch large. Some of the photos show the roses filling a glass with one rose. This is a tiny mold set with 9 small roses. I have been using the mold daily for several weeks. I use this to create small tealights. The mold is flexible, sturdy, and easy to use. I do think it is worth considering for chocolates, candies, tealights, or wax melts. Its a great mold if you like the small size.

Good for serving cold drinks to guests

This is a great way to pop out of the freezer flavor ready ice cubes for shot glass mix drinks. You can get about 5 refill pours if your drink is cold before it melts. Making shots with friends more enjoyable instead of spilling when trying to measure the amounts. Durable and easy to use. My kids like little rose Jell-O on top of their cupcakes. Or homemade rose peanut butter cups by placing melted chocolate thinly and freezing and scoop peanut butter then top with chocolate and cool.
