A custom designed swim cap made to fit dreadlocks, extra long hair or braids. It's important you allow your dreadlocks to dry thoroughly after swimming and showering etc so this is a really convenient way to keep your dreadlocks dry while still enjoying the water. Material: The silicone is soft and less prone to static which makes slipping it on so much easier. WEAR & CARE: The caps are made from 100% silicone and just like any swim cap, if you completely submerge your head a little water may seep in under the edges. For the most part, your dreads will remain dry and any wetness that may occur will dry quickly. They can be stretched to fit over the head but take care not to tear the silicone by over stretching or with sharp nails or jewellery. SIZING: This Extra Large cap is suitable for dreads which extend past the middle of your back. If you need less volume, then you may wish to consider the Large or Medium/Large Swim Cap.

This is a Life Saver
I had avoided braiding my hair for years because I swim five times a week. This product has now allowed me to do both without problems.I have big fat braids that a chest length. It was a little clumsy at first to fit the braid into the cap but once I got the hang of it, it has kept my braids dry while I swim. Of course the ends come out a little wet but there were also some wet bits with the normal swimming cap when I didn't have braids. All in all I'm quite satisfied. I find that using a sleeping cap before putting on the swimming cap helped to put it on and contain the big unwieldy braids better for me anyway

I love my swimming hat sooooo much than you Dread empire you rock, even more greatful to know that my dreads stay dry and even when though I'm scared of the deepend of the pool with dread empire swimming hat on you will never sink to the bottom so this is overall a lifesaver one cause my dreads are soooooo long and I've been through untold hat splitting on me and so I know this will last me now forever no more buying anymore but I will still buy another to keep or just to choose another colour so I can swap & change bestest buy ever!!!

i don't know if its me but i still get my hair wet with this cap, but honestly its better than the small one i had. so i will definitely recommend it.

Very good size for my chunky braids
Very good size for my chunky braids. Some water can get in though but only from the sides. So ensure to have the cap on properly.Quite pleased with the purchase. Being using the cap for my swimming lessons and it's going strong ☺

This hat actually kept my long jumbo braids dry - only a little of my hairline got wet and this is why I have given it 4 stars and not 5.

Excellent - It really does the trick !
I'm so so happy with this swimming cap ! It really does the trick. I have locks that are more than half way down my back and there is still lots of room in the cap and it really does keep my hair practically bone dry. I have also recommended it to quite a few people who have asked me about it as I am so pleased and happy with it. Thank you Dread Empire !

Water still gets in but its big enough for braids
The water still gets into your hair, but its the best product I've been able to find that allows me to swim with braided hair
