It's hard to find decently-sized cuttlebones here for some reason. Too many sellers are showing close-up images of cuttlebones that make them look life-sized and they end up being thumb-sized (and I have little thumbs). NOT THESE. These cuttlebones are the described six (6) inches, unbleached and full-size as expected, ideal for birds. My cockatiels love them. I especially like that they're unbleached and are their original bone color, so I can feel confident my birds are not ingesting junk. I don't use the little aluminum band holders and instead use Living World Cage Hold-All's plastic pinch style holder (https://smile.amazon.com/Living-World-81682-Cage-Hold-All/dp/B0006JM21U/) so my cockatiels won't manage to cut their feet (I just don't trust the cheap metal style band that tends to ship with most cuttlebones, including these).This brand will be my go-to brand and I will definitely be repeating my cuttlebone order again and again from SunGrow.

These are the best cuddle bones for the price I've seen in a while. I actually was surprised they were the big ones.Of the 3 pk, one was split a bit at top approx 3 inches but not a waste. Can use broken one & use treat clip to attach. If you're comfortable, sometimes they break off and don't have sharp edges. But it's hit or miss.(Note that broken one could have broke during shipping . It was sent in Amazon blue and white shipping envelope instead of a box with bubble wrap.)Definitely recommend this item to those with multiple birds. Just beacuse it was a bit cracked, I think these were great. They arrived in time.

PROS: fair price, size appropriate, nice packaging, arrived promptly, my green-cheek conure went to town on them~CONS: the slivers didn’t last long, as the texture seemed too soft, almost like a fine styrofoam. Little piles of white powder collected on the cage floor within what I thought to be a short time.

I can't tell you how many cuttlebones tell you that they're a large they end up being 2in tall. These are in fact the correct size for most cuddle bone holders. I'm buying more for stocking up now because you can never get this lucky.

They are the perfect size and my birds really love grooming their beaks, they go thru them so fast. I love'em for my parakeets keeps them busy.

I started to buy another product and found someone had submitted a video that they had ordered it and it was just chalk! She even demonstrated it! So I did the research and found this one to be the real stuff! You do need to boil it and let it dry but my birds love it! This will be my go to cuttlebone because I know it’s real!
