I bought it for 85-year old dad who was recovering from a hip fracture. Anyone who has had a fall tends to be anxious about slipping or falling again, especially in the bathroom. This chair makes him feel certain that he won't. It has a generous seat size but compact footprint. You get two sets of leg ends. One is like that rubber pump we use to unclog drains. It grabs the wet floor and stays in place. The other set is normal rubber sleeves. I use the former and dad loves it. The arm rests are important for him to get up and sit down as he has had a fracture. The seat has drain holes so water doesn't pool on the seat. It's good enough for everyone to use it after a stressful day at work.
