My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and was scheduled for a lumpectomy. After doing some research on Reddit, I learned that mastectomy pillows are really helpful during recovery. I looked at a lot of different pillows here on Amazon but ultimately decided on this one. It was a fantastic choice! My mom used it immediately after she was released from surgery and it helped prevent pain from the seatbelt on the ride home. She also said it helped her sleep because it prevented pain in her armpit, where they took some lymph nodes. Overall, she said the pressure and softness was nice on her chest, and she used it for many days during her recovery. My mom said it was a lifesaver! It’s well-made, the fabric is soft, the pocket at the front is convenient for storage of small items (my mom kept her phone there when she was relaxing), and the strap helps keep everything in place and is a great support. If you have an upcoming surgery, or if a loved one has an upcoming surgery, this is a must buy!

I bought this for a dear friend and she loves it. She describes it as comfortable and practical for recovery. It’s protective from her cat jumping on her as well as from seat belts. The pockets are great for cell phones, remotes, etc. I recommend this product

Don’t know what I would have done without it. Wore for the first 2 weeks all day. Gave me protection and security with pets, toddlers, car rides and sleep. Week three still wearing for sleep. It is comfortable and protects my incisions.Extras were used to! Cold pack, seatbelt cover and drain lanyard all got great use!! Also will probably keep the seat cover on indefinitely- so much more comfortable.

This pillow was an absolute Must-Have item after my double mastectomy. It kept my small dogs from jumping on my chest and it was comforting and cozy while healing. The pockets were so handy for my phone as well as my drainage tubes. It also helped me maintain by back sleeping position. I’m not a back sleeper at all. It was perfect in every way possible and I’m so glad I purchased it and had it here as soon as I arrived home from the hospital.

I won’t comment on color, I needed function!I had two surgeries and needed this to help during recovery. After using this pillow day and night for a week, the pillow is still fluffy.This pillow is excellent for both supporting and keeping pets away from the abdominal incision during my waking hours. It works well protecting abdominal incisions from seat belts. It is also good for protecting my post surgical lymph area.Unfortunately, the pillow has been made for smaller women. I’m a size 20. Although my pillow measures about 32” around (without pulling and flattening it to add inches), and has a 27” (flimsy) belt, it just doesn’t fit well. The belt connector is about 10” in towards the middle of the pillow so the belt size is actually closer to 17”. Consider the belt must also traverse fluffiness, it’s actually about 3-4” less, so let’s say 13.5”. That means it’s fastened at the very end of the belt for me. Not perfect at all. Manufacturer: add a few inches!The wings are about 11”. Since the middle portion isn’t generous, nor are the wings, the high point of the wing sits just under my axillary incision. I have to wear this pulled to the side, so it doesn’t hurt the incision line.I would suggest the manufacturer add 2” to the belt (can’t cost more than a few pennies), and make a pillow about 1” longer on the middle and 2” at the lower part of the sides. I’d have been happier to pay more for a better fitting item.Good: price, supportive, fluffy, adequately sewn, good ice pack pocket, great for seat belt protection.Bad: not a fit for over about size 14 or well-endowed women.

I absolutely love my pillow! It was exactly what I needed after surgery. This soft comfortable pillow provided support and comfort for sleeping, sitting up, walking, and while driving. Thank you for making this wonderful necessity! 🩷

The ice pack sure comes in handy and I really like the seatbelt cover. The pillow itself is great too. I didn’t use it much after the first couple of weeks, but we have several cats and this has saved me considerable pain by cushioning my chest if the cats did anything from paw at it to jump on it. I highly recommend it for individuals with small children or pets.

This pillow has a lifesaver. Post mastectomy it’s easy to use good quality and lightweight. Fits perfectly and easy to sleep with. It hurts to cough bend move and ride in a car. This pillow raps around holding you in for those moments. Right now I’m using it to limit the nerve pain under my arms and sides post surgery.
