I have never posted a negative review but there’s first time for everything. Perhaps they forgot to put catnip inside the pack I received, because my cat just looked at them and walked away. I can’t smell any catnip in them. I was very disappointed because I bought this to cheer up my cat who lost her older sister cat to a heart defect. My only consolation is that I didn’t spend too much money.

I'm leaving 4 stars for now. The soft texture of the material leads me to believe it may not last very long under my cat's totures. Despite that, they pass my smell test. ( Sounds weird but I don't like or want to give my cat something that smells of chemicals. In this case I'd of returned the product as washing it would defeat the purpose of a catnip filled toy.)As the title suggests they are larger than I thought they would be. Which is great! I love the larger toys, they are harder for my cat to shove under the couch or otherwise lose very easily like what has to be a thousand ball toys by now lost under couches or other things we don't move very often. (like the refrigerator. You'd be surprised.)

I purchased these on accident thinking they were toys that made the crinkle noise on the inside. These toys make no noise at all and I don't believe that they actually have any cat nip on or in them. I have 3 cats ages 11yrs, 4yrs, and 5mos. NONE of my cats played with these toys!

Make sure you read the descriptions, I didn't and thought I was getting ones with zippers, it says zippers on only on 12 and 16 inch model, which I now discover is not an option to buy? Anyway, I have two cats male and female, both rubbed their face on it a couple times and now don't pay any attention to them. Male cat stuck his teeth in and easily ripped the nose off one of them. I leave them on my upstairs landing to catch sun, they never move. The cats are not impressed man, probably no catnip in them or just a trace. No harm done really as it was cheap but wouldn't buy these from anywhere else as probably all the same.

As soon as I got these I put them in front of my cats. They sniffed them for about 2 minutes & then walked away. My cats love catnip & they won't let go of toys with catnip in them - they didn't care about these. I rubbed & squeezed them trying to get the scent of catnip active so they could smell them - nothing. Catnip is a pretty distinctive smell and I smell nothing on these toys. They were so inexpensive its not worth it too return them, but I'm going to have to cut them open to put catnip in them. Ugh - maybe I'll just throw them away or give them to a shelter. What a waste.

My girl Penny loves her fishies-I see her carry them around the house in her mouth, kicking them, batting them down the hallway, hitting them down the stairs, pouncing on them, catching them in the air when thrown to her. I often open the shower curtain and find a fishy or two in there, the shower has been turned on with the fish in there (accidentally) but the fishies dry up nicely and Penny is still attracted to them after being wet and air-dried so many times. We love to watch her play with her fish.We’ve had these fish for 4-5 months now and I recently bought another set for a back up because these fishies get a LOT of rough play but they are still in great shape. My girl is still a kitten and is as rough, tough and unruly as a whole pack of wild toddlers, I don’t think that we will need to bust out the back-ups for at least another 4-5 months.

Do not crinkle and unless I physically wriggle the fish by dangling it from the end of my fingers (putting them at risk for teeth and claws) my 10 week old kitten could care less. I'm just glad these weren't expensive. >.<

There's are amazing. My kitty has like cat ADHD and I could never get him to play with any toy for longer than 5 minutes. The last few months he's been incredibly bored so he's over slept and been over eating like crazy. The second I took the fish out of the package he attacked the bag they were in. Once I opened it and gave him one he went mad playing with it for almost 30 minutes, he only quit to take a nap. The product is the perfect size and well made with soft fabric. So wonderful for the price, your cats will love them and love you more for buying them.
