Yes, but you need to have a 12 volt battery for the pump.

Q: Does the pump run continuously when spot spraying only?

There is a switch in the power supply line you can turn off and on for spot spraying. One could get creative and install a pressure switch(12 volt) to make it easier to use for spot spraying.

Q: The wand was broke when i opened the box i love the sprayer but i can not use the wand because the head was broke off

don't know if you can get a new wand under warranty. Replacements are readily available at retail outlets- I use local farm stores.
