Wanted a tea pot that would remind us it’s on without shrieking. If you like a quieter whistle then this will work. Cool handle. Nice compact shape. Works well on my glass top stove as bottom is flat and seamless.

Heating water for coffee

First of all, this is not a 4 quart tea pot, as advertised, it is more like 3 quart. The first time I used it I put a little too much water in and it bubbled out from under the top when it boiled, getting water everywhere, which was my fault not the product's. The next time I filled it at the right level, it did not boil over, and it did whistle loudly (loud enough to scare my cat, ha!) which is what it is supposed to do (the whistling not the cat scaring). Second of all, despite having the heat resistant handle, you still have to wear an oven mitt when you take it off of the burner to pour, so that you do not get burned from the steam coming from the top vent where it whistles. On the plus side, it looks nice sitting on my stove and makes me a little nostalgic for my childhood home where we always had both coffee and tea pots on the stove at all times. I am keeping this, because it does get the job done and I think it holds more water than the average pot, just not the 4 quarts advertised.

Just the right size for me, not too big, not too small. Heats well. Looks good. Easy to fill with water. Nicely made.

The media could not be loaded.  I just can't understand how such a simple thing as a tea kettle could be made so bad. The whistle in the lid often will not make a sound at all. The steam from the water will push out from under the lid on the spout and condense on my stovetop leaving a puddle for me to wipe up. I have returned this. On a positive note, it did work with my induction stovetop.

I like the design. It heats up quickly. The whistle is weak, but audible. I need to keep a sponge handy when I pour the hot water as it always spills.

Great, clean stainless kettle. No dents, packaged well. Easy to use and no burn marks on bottom after using or heating. Cleans well inside and out and seems to be scratch resistant.

Size and build are perfect.

Es muy delgada. Y la tapita de la punta parece que se va a zafar.Lo único bueno es que el fondo no viene remachado.Espero que no se oxide.Estoy decidiendo si regresarla o darle una oportunidad.

La tetera es bonita, parece tener acabados adecuados al precio. Sin embargo la capacidad no es lo que anuncian, un modelo dice ser de 2/4 de galón, es decir 2.3 litros, pero totalmente llena no le caben ni 2 litros, y si se respeta donde dice “MAX” es mucho menos, aprox 1.5 litros.
