I bought this 7 years ago - and it still works and uses very little energy. So there’s the good news. Unfortunately, as a dehumidifier, it’s pretty useless. It does remove moisture from the air, but at the rate of about one thimble full per day. It does move the air around (a fan would do that better). and produces a warm-ish gentle airflow, but if you want a serious dehumidifier, you need to buy a bigger unit, with a compressor. Luckily, I have one of those too and it removes about 2 litres of moisture per 48 hours.

We tried in a 10m3 room where it's 'raining' from the ceiling because it is so humid, and this dehumidifier does not do much. It might work in smaller spaces but we only needed it for that specific room.

Nice piece of kit is this little machine I've had it running In a damp room and have to say it collected water and having left it running its done the trick and seems to have took the chill off out of the room.It purrs away on a shelf and I've a job to hear it at all.Well pleased with it

very neat product, being used in a bedroom surprising how much water it does collect, cannot have running during the night as the noise of the motor is annoying

Had it plugged in on and off for 2 weeks when i noticed it blinking. It was broken so I had to go get a refund which was annoying!Make sure you'res not broken when it arrives

I am using it in my bathroom as I dont have an expelaire fan. Seems to work ok and it is very sturdily made.
