I don’t usually post photos with my reviews but I did feel it was necessary for this one. I tried applying the chrome powder a few different ways so let me explain. Please note- these are 2 week old nails. On my thumb, I applied one thin layer of my gel polish and cured. Without wiping the sticky layer of the gel polish, I used the makeup applicator to apply the chrome powder to that nail. The sponge on the applicator fell off while I was applying the powder but they do provide 2 and it is dual ended. I applied a gel top coat and cured. Its hard to see in the picture but it came out super sparkly. It’s pretty but it’s not that mirror like chrome finish I was hoping for. That could very well be user error (which is most likely the case 😂)On my pointer and middle fingers I applied the chrome powder directly on top of the top coat- please note: I did not apply a new layer of top coat before applying the powder so I’m not sure if that will make a difference. My pointer finger was applied with the makeup applicator and my middle finger was applied with my finger. Both application techniques gave similar results which is that glazed donut nail that is very in right now. It’s subtle but super classy and pretty. It’s kinda hard to see in pictures but in person it’s very pretty! I applied a layer of gel top coat on top of the powder and cured. This is probably how I will continue to use this powder in the future since I’m not really a big fan of the extremely sparkly finish on my thumb.My ring finger and pinky have no chrome powder.This is only day one and I was working with the tool provided and my fingers but I think I’m gonna order a silicone applicator and continue to play around with different methods of application to see if I am able to get that mirror chrome look.

This product was so so good! Make sure that when you are using this, it goes underneath a top coat. Apply this after your gel color is cured, and before you apply a top coat! Will be repurchasing after I run out.

So much fun and easy to use.

This is a great product. But the fact that you are applying powder means it can be messy. Nothing that cant be fixed by using a towel underneath your work area and washing hands after top coat.

I was expecting more of a pearl but comes out silver, still love it though

The media could not be loaded.  This chrome comes with a silvery chrome, and a peachy hue chrome. Pictured above I used the more silver appearing chrome over a light brown gel. Super easy to apply with a silicone applicator. I did not try it with the eyeshadow applicator it came with, as I bought a better applicator on here as well. Highly recommend for anyone that does nails 💅🏽

This white chrome powered was exactly what I wanted wasn’t to shiny but was still enough you could see it! Love it!!
