Excellent taste
I'll preface this by saying I'm not a matcha expert by any means but I have tried quite a few now and this is by far my favourite. I make a mug of tea with just water and honey and this has no bitterness, an almost creamy taste and no residue. I don't know if the experts would consider this matcha to be great but the taste for me is excellent and that's all I care about!

Best green tea
It is the second time I buy macha. I liked the first one but it didn’t have that intense green color that I expected and sometimes the bitter taste a little. That’s why I decided to try Matcha powder and we loved it; for the colour, for the sweetness, for great taste , easy preparation (without lumps) and for the ease of purchase! I would definitely recommend to try this one if you are a fan of matcha

Not bad but had better
Its ok I have had better this one seems a little more bitter to me but the colour of the matcha is nice.would I buy again over some other brands where I can get 90g for the same price as this 50g probably not but if I seen the price come down a few more £ then I could be tempted back.

Tastes a bit sweet, contains caffeine.
The media could not be loaded. Ceremonial grade matcha tea normally tastes sweet anyway, it didn't make me sick like some matcha teas do, this is because in Japan they don't use pesticides when spraying the green tea leaf, the ones that make you feel sick you need to throw them away asap. This is probably the real thing as it tastes sweet smells fresh like a lush green forest, smells sweet fresh actually and doesn't make me feel sick. So not only is it real it is a good quality matcha. Shame about the value for 50g that is pretty high, I remember buying the exact same matcha quality for 100g for 30 quid and it wasn't a cullinary blend. I guess prices vary these days.Store in a cool dry place, and use 1g of product into a cup, I did 2g. Then add a little bit of hot water not boiling and either crush it and stir yourself or use a blender, I used a handheld blender/frother, comes out smoother, then top up the rest with either hot water or hot milk of your choice. Well that's how I make mine, you can technically make and bake anything with this powder, just startpage.com recipes for matcha use.It tastes even sweeter with milk/almond milk, but hot water is always healthier if your trying to use it to help you lose calories, as my method of using this is before training, it acts like a coffee green tea gives more energy at a moderate pace compared to coffee, but sustains energy feeling for longer than coffee, while not spiking energy like coffee does because green tea has less caffeine than coffee. Also matcha tea doesn't give jitters it simply isn't like high caffeine coffee, if you have too much coffee.Wish it would tell me exactly how much caffeine is in 1g of this. Typically this is between 19-44mg of caffeine per gram I think if I remember correct, as I have been using matcha since 2015, just beware of two things this has caffeine in it, and some matcha tea's can make you feel sick because of where it's sourced. Japan is the best place to get matcha hands down.

Premium and authentic matcha powder with health benefits and great taste.
I ordered this matcha powder to make my own matcha drinks at home and I was very impressed with the product. The powder was ceremonial grade AAA+, which meant it was the highest quality of matcha available. The powder was made from authentic Japanese green tea leaves that were shade-grown, hand-picked, and stone-ground. The powder had a vibrant green color and a fine texture. The powder had a rich and smooth flavor with a hint of sweetness and bitterness. The powder was also packed with antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that could boost energy, metabolism, immunity, and mood. The powder was easy to use and versatile, as it could be mixed with hot water, milk, smoothies, or baked goods. I loved making matcha lattes and matcha cookies with this powder. I think this is a great product for anyone who loves matcha and wants to enjoy its health benefits and great taste.

Not bad - but if you're interested in Japanese tea ceremony, use alternative instructions
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Decent enough quality.Things I didn't like:- Price, although this has come down from a completely unreasonable £30 to a more reasonable £10.- Instructions are not authentic given how the listing makes such a big deal of its "ceremonial grade". If you are properly interested in traditional Japanese tea ceremony, do look up a few videos on how to make it. You don't make a mug of matcha, you'll make it with a tea whisk and in a special bowl.Do I recommend it?Yes - at £9 (subscribe and save; you can always cancel after the first order) this is easier to recommend than it was a few months ago. The quality is absolutely fine for the price.
