First of all, I want to say this is working better than I expected. I bought this because I'm sick of changing my Arlo batteries every 2 weeks. I have had the solar panel now for 1 month. How well does this work : I installed this on a North East facing wall, not optimal as this probably gets the least amount of direct sunlight of all my walls, and to complicate this further my garage obscures any sunlight as the sun moves to midday. I read that the panel needs direct sunlight to work so I was doubtful about how well this would work. Now I live in Louisiana, so we do have a decent amount of sunshine, however this is February and the weather in the last month hasn't been great. When I installed the panel my battery was at 65% charge, and now a month later it's at 100% charge. The camera is pointing out to my front drive, so in any one day the motion sensor triggers the camera between 25 to 50 times a day for a 1 minute recording. The camera seems to charge even when there is cloud which was a surprise to me. It's easy enough to install and the bracket tightens to allow you to angle the panel as suits. The cable that attaches to the camera is fairly long so you dont need to have this next to the camera, although in my case I put it right next to the camera. The panel is a nice size as well - see picture. My HOA can get uptight, but this is fairly unobtrusive. I've just ordered a second panel for the back of our property. Pretty happy with my purchase.

At first I thought it wasn’t doing anything and I was ready to return it. It showed that it was connected to my arlo go 2 camera, but wasn’t charging. Once the battery drained to about 40%, I noticed that the battery started charging. It has been charging 1-4% each day depending on how much it triggers and is over 60% now and still climbing. So now it is doing exactly what I bought it for. It was easy to install. The cord is long in case it needs to be a distance from the camera. It is the magnet type of charger, so it won’t work with the cameras that plug in to charge. So I’d recommend, especially if you’re using your camera in a place it’s difficult to get to or if you’re monitoring a site you don’t visit all the time to change a battery.

We needed a replacement solar panel for our Arlo and really didn’t want to spend the extra money for name brand. This one works great

We bought an Arlo system for the interior of the house several years ago when my mother with dementia moved in. It was a great option. We could set motion or audio alerts to let us know when she got up in the middle of the night and to check on her when she was home alone with her CNA. Any motion was recorded to an sd card without having to pay for a service. We were able to purchase cords to plug them in so they didn’t need recharging. The camera images are clear. The new system is not like that. The cameras are not very clear. They record ONLY to an sd card, so if you don’t subscribe to their service you can’t see anything except a live video on your phone. The solar charger does not work at all. Ours is mounted in full sunlight. The batteries also don’t work if the temperature drops below freezing. Our older outdoor camera which is plugged in has never failed no matter how cold it gets. We have found no option to plug the new cameras in. All of our cameras are mounted out of reach without a ladder and I have no intention of dragging a ladder around the inside and outside of the house every week or two to change batteries. I have talked several friends into buying the Arlo systems and never will I support them again. Do not buy these cameras.

This is my second solar charger purchase. Everything you need is in the box. It was very easy to install and worked perfectly with my Arlo Pro 4 cameras. As soon as you plug it in you will see a sun charging icon in the Arlo mobile app. Even on the darkest days I have never dropped below a 97% charge. Although the panel and mount are plastic it seems sturdy. As long as the clear plastic over the solar panel doesn't fade or crack the panel should last for years.

Ordered product looks great. Not to expensive. My camera unfortunately might be too dead for this to power up. Might need replacement battery or just wired charge to turn on. Easy ti install.

Bought so we would not have to take our cameras down to charge them. They work great!!

The panel arrived on Friday. I installed it in the late afternoon just before sunset.This panel provides up to 4 watts of power. It is installed just above the Arlo camera. The camera has a charge of 81% before connecting to the panel. Next day, by 3PM, the camera is fully charged.During the past 2 days, the camera stays at 100%!I don't know much about the reliability yet. Too early to judge.I am impressed.

Pannello solare fabbricato con ottimi materiali.Il supporto invece mi sembra un pochino più fragile.Facile il collegamento alle telecamere.

✔️ 🅿🅷🅸🅻 🆃🅸 🅲🅾🅽🆂🅸🅶🅻🅸🅰 ✔️⚙️ Funzionamento ⚙️Prima di acquistare il pannello solare verificate dalla descrizione rilasciata dal produttore stesso ,per verificare la compatibilità con il vostro modello , comunque per il momento il pannello solaresembra compatibile con tutti i modelli di telecamera arlo usciti attualmente , quindi se dovesseroesserci nuovi modelli vi consiglio di verificare.Il collegamento è molto semplice e non richiede particolari competenze , occorre semplicementecollegare il cavo del pannello solare alla videocamera , così come avviene quando la ricaricatemanualmente.Il flusso di ricarica risulta costante e senza irregolarità, soprattutto se lo mettete in un punto altodove la ricezione dei raggi UV è ottimale.Anche in giornate non particolarmente soleggiate comunque garantisce una ricarica in poche ore.Direi dunque di consigliarlo perché è uno strumento essenziale , in quanto senza l’utilizzo dipannello solare ogni volta dovete rimuovere la telecamera da dove l’avete posizionata perricaricarla , considerate che impostando le preferenze delle telecamere arlo alle massime prestazioni, in genere hanno una durata di circa massima 2 o 3 mesi , con questo pannello solare vi liberate dalpensiero di doverla ricaricare ogni volta.
