This is perfect and good hay lasts a while and guinea pigs love it

The hay arrived in a cardboard box. It was packed full of hay, and it was lovely and fresh. This had lots of stalks and stems in, my buns love this type of hay. I ordered this as the hay I got elsewhere was all cut up into small bits and neither of my buns were interested. Ive had to shop around a bit to find something that they will consistently eat. I will definitely be ordering this again, maybe in the larger box.

The value for money makes this product irreplaceable to me. Though, I do have some complaints. The first order was perfect, but the second time I ordered (back around March 2024) the box smelled like fish and it came with some tiny little bugs that often live in hay. It was frustrating to get rid of the bugs and the smell went away with time. I have empathy for this, because I know that these come from a farm and you can't really entirely avoid these things during the colder and rainy seasons. Still, it's worth noting. Maybe it's an issue with storage, or how the hay is delivered. Regardless, I am very happy with the product and I'm saddened that I can't give it 5 stars. This hay is good quality and has saved me a lot of money in the long run. Especially if you're disabled, it's amazing only having to order hay every once in a while and not have to travel all the time for pet store prices. If you can get past the occasional issues that I've listed here, I definitely recommend the product.edit: The bug is the foreign grain beetle, it's considered a pest and is common with grain production but it doesn't affect the quality of the grain, it eats fungus. Still, it's a bit gnarly to see them in the box.

Having previously purchased the 5kg box of timothy hay, sweet green and my girls loved it. I opted for the 12.6kg box this time. Was surprised when the delivery driver handed it over how light the box was as I was expecting it to be at least twice as heavy as the previous box. It wasn't, out of curiousity I weighed the box prior to opening it, 8.2kg so certainly not 12.6kg. Anyway as I ordered last minute and needed to feed my piggies I opened the box, wow, the smell is awful, not sweet like the last box, dry brown and does not look like timothy hay. My girls dont like it. Very disappointed after the previous box quality, will be looking elsewhere in future. And will likely end up throwing this box on the compost heap.

At first I was a bit sceptical because the hay is thinner than I expected. However the quality seems to be good, it's green and smells nice! What is most importantly to me is that my rabbit loves it more than his pervious hay and spends more time throughout the day eating his new hay. Definitely recommend to try it out.

5kg last for at least 3 months , however my rabbit is feeling sick because of this hay, he’s having continuous diarrhoea, I keep an eye on him and he hasn’t been naughty, stopped giving him this hay for few days after his symptoms and his poop would go back to being normal, rather than all squishy and liquid. It is definitely this hay.

Brilliant quality, our rabbit can't get enough of this stuff. He's usually really fussy about hay so we're glad to have found one he loves.
