Kuretake Fude Brush Pen black FUDEGOKOCHI 2 pcs set soft & hard for drawing art for lettering for calligraphy

Love this product. I use them for small format Chinese calligraphy and love the feel of both of these pens. Only problem (aside from seeing that this product is not available at the moment) is that I received the extra fine pen missing half the ink like another buyer on here (pictured). That said, I will happily buy this again when they run out. I have contacted the seller and got back an email in broken English offering help to replace it- but the link for replacements was just a link to my amazon order history. Emailed them back again and I’ve never heard back. Don’t care. Still would buy again haha.

I'm always looking for a new pen or brush to ink comics art with, and this pair of pens meet my requirements. The larger brush does a nice job outlining, the smaller tip is excellent for detail work. The small brush tip allows for a more natural line for detail work as opposed to a static pen tip (for clothing details, as an example). The pens lay down a solid black ink that dries fairly quickly. I haven't had a smudge issue yet. I tried these pens under real conditions, and found that the white touch-up ink I use (Dr Martin's) covers the ink, and the new ink lines compare with the original. It takes a little longer to dry on the touch-up patch, but looks the same when scanned. I just ordered more.

I love it! I draw a lot and I've been wanting some different ink pens with different type of brush and this one caught my eye when I compared the Fudenosuke brand. I use gel pens and while they do bleed a little when too much gel pen is put on it does retain its color to the paper- it does not get wiped away when I go to erase the pencil markings. Specifically, in a small area to do detail the gel pen does pick up the ink but thats easily remedied. Very happy!

As many others have stated, I received my pens today and one of them came with half ink in the tube. I found it strange as the packaging didn’t look used. I contacted amazon and they very quickly said they could send me an additional two pens to correct this issue at no extra charge and no need to return the first two pens.The overall build quality of the pens is pretty good, and they are comfortable to write with. Would recommend to others for that. Just wish the ink wasn’t an issue, but good customer service from Amazon.

First time buyer of these pens and I love them. Perfect for brush lettering. One is hard, which gives gorgeous thin lines. The other is soft that gives very elegant writing with a thin/thick contrast that is perfect. A very good beginner pen for someone starting out with brush lettering.My ONLY negative is that the ink needs a minute to dry. Being a lefty I must be aware that I don’t drag my pinky through and smudge the ink. But if you are careful and always aware when lettering something, you should have no problem.

Really great brush pens! Got these to replace some I had that were running low on ink and I'm trying to test out a couple different brands. So far they work great! There are 2 pens, a hard tip and soft tip and I am a big fan of both, although the hard tip is easier to control. The ink is very dark and lays on smooth, although the soft tip pen is slightly runnier, but that isn't really and issue with the work I do. Overall, nice brush texture and easy to control, highly recommend these!

I ordered these pens so that I could address the invitations for my wedding. I wanted to be able to have a pen that allowed me to write in cursive with a flair, so that it would come as close to calligraphy as possible. These pens are excellent!!! They completely surpassed my expectation - I was SO pleasantly surprised, my writing looks even better than I expected! I’m going to order another pair in a few weeks so that I can address my thank you cards with the same pens! Love them...would HIGHLY recommend these!!!

I love Kuretake pens, and these are no exception! They're great for drawing and calligraphy. Both pens in the set are precise, and the hard felt tip is great for making delicate marks. The soft felt tip works well for varied line weights. The ink is quite black, and the pens are easy to use, so I would recommend this set to anyone from beginner to seasoned artist.
