If you have a professor in your life...
Its a tough time for University professors as programs are cut and faculty are retrenched (fancy word for laid off). This cup was a good morale booster to remind my professor wife that she has had a prestigious career and had reached the pinnacle of her chosen field (a STEM discipline no less) before her liberal arts college eliminated her science department. She may be forced to retire early but they can't take away her scholarly achievements.
