Great Value Company Super Fast Pop Corn Maker Featuring Advanced Hot Air Technology, Fuchsia Pink

I've been meaning to write this review for some time, but every time I think about it, I'm too mad after cleaning up popcorn to write it. It is not an understatement to say that this product has enraged my wife and I. We used our old air-pop corn popper probably three nights a week for 18 years. When we moved to the UK, we wanted to continue making a healthy snack. This was the very first appliance we bought when we got here; it arrived the same day as six bags of popcorn, and so we were quite excited to try it out. We used the measuring cup to put the corn in and when it had finished, there were probably 10 kernals on the floor, because of the explosion nearly-popped corn caused in our bowl. But the odd thing was that there were apporximately half of the kernals unpopped inside the bowl - they had not achieved the heat to pop. Naturally, we were disappointed that we were only getting half of our corn popped. So we scooped out the popped kernals, and re-inserted the unpopped and tried again. Most of them did pop this time. We have tinkered with amounts, but every time, only about half of the kernals pop. My best guess is that it's a design flaw. The neck is too short to have them fully popped. In our old one, it has a longer neck, and most of the kernals pop while in the chamber, and then they push their way out; with this one, the chamber is too short, and so they either arrive in the bowl unpopped, or most distressingly, ready to pop. I don't have to tell you that a kernal popping in a bowl of already-popped corn sends them every where. Getting a decent bowl of popcorn has become an ordeal. This machine has become an albatross.

Great product for a small family. Fair amount of popcorn issued, in a short time. Maybe a bit too noisy, but acceptable. Not suitable for parties or more than 2 kids, since it heats up after each use (which produces one bowl) and needs time off to cool.

Total cheap rubbish.Bought for a qerky Christmas present. had only used this twice, made a couple of small bowls of popcorn, then it blew the electric tripping out the RCD!I couldnt be bothered to take this piece of junk down the post office to return so its gone in the bin.

Outstanding. One small scoop of corn turns into a huge bowl of popcorn within 2 minutes. Great to watch. Can flavour with whatever you want and use organic corns. Over the moon with it. Machine seems good quality and looks good. No heat issues as some have noted with some machines. Recommend.

Wow what can I say, fast or what you put your popping corn in and within the minute you have popcorn.Just one thing just remember to hold your bowl close to the spout or you will be picking popcorn up because it comes out with speed.The only two parts that get hot are the spinner where you put your corn and the spout the body keeps cool oh you should put it on a tea towel when using it just to stop it from moving as its that powerful.

I bought it for a present for my cousin's home bar. It arrived on time and we started using it straight away. I must say it was a hit! We all enjoyed it and we went through a big pack of popcorn in one day. It's very easy to use and popcorn tastes really nice. I think I might be buying one of those machines for myself.

Good concept, it makes popcorn fast, hassle free and without the need for cooking oil. The drawbacks are that the popcorn is squishy, not crunchy, and the popcorn cools very quickly so that attempts to salt it don't succeed.

Oh my! When we finally found so corn in town, (None in our big Tesco, Morrisons or Co-op!) we added one cup as directed and turned it on. In just one minute we had half a large mixing bowl of amazing pop corn. Dose exactly what it say it dose so even with the huge noice I fully recommend this even for twice the price!
