The way a log book should be
The log book is approximately A4 size and with a hard cover. There are 25 entries per every double page, with approx. 40 double pages. It gives suggestions on two different ways to maintain a log, and a recommended list of abbreviations and symbols. It doesn't waste space with the boilerplate stuff about flags, rules of the road, fog signals, IALA, etc., which I like to keep in my skipper folder (or my memory), and don't need to be duplicated in the log. Columns for each entry are, from left to right: Time, Course Ordered, Log reading, Course Steered, Dist Run, Leeway, Wind, Sea, Weather, Visibility, Baro, Position, Source of fix, Next wp, Remarks, with all but the Remarks on the left page, and Remarks on the right page. It has additional entries per page such as Date, From and To, Engine hours, space for some Narrative, etc.. Because the Remarks column is as wide as an A4 page, it allows you to partition it further, adding other columns to log additional information. Overall a neat layout and a robust binding.

Spot on.
Bought as a gift for a friend who has just got a small sailing cruiser. He can record everything he needs in the one book. Even has an introduction to how to fill it in. He loves it.

A good all round sailors logbook
A good all round logbook. Have used for some years.Could be improved by the addition of a section to record high and low tides and weather forecast informationHowever there is enough space to put in your own sections and headings as required.

If you're looking for a serious logbook...
This is a serious logbook, not one of those "diary-type" logbooks. The pre-printed subjects are what we use for every sail, in accordance with maritime law for boats registered in our country, including engine and generator hours.
