DEWALT DCS355N XR Brushless Oscillating Multi Tool Bare Unit

Brilliant bit of kit. Can't be without it.

I've recently started to switch over to Dewalt 18 volt XR cordless tools from being previously mainly equipped with mains powered gear. This was my latest addition. I've used multi-tools before, some mains, some cordless, but never owned one until now. Today was its first day at work, kitchen fitting. It didn't take long for me to press it into service, cutting through the dowels to remove fixed shelves in an oven housing that needed altering, followed by a quick (and I mean QUICK) blade change to trim a back panel flush with the top of a re-positioned shelf. It sailed through both jobs with minimal vibration. I think I'm going to be using this tool a lot! As it was advertised as a bare tool, I didn't expect any blades with it and ordered them seperately. I was surprised and pleased when it arrived with a decent range of blades, dust extract pipes, sanding head and papers. There was no box but I didn't expect one at the price paid. I'm probably going to invest in one of the Dewalt Tough System boxes to hold this and other cordless tools.

What a great tool, very robust and useful at a good price ,I’m finding it’s better to buy the tools without the battery much cheaper way of buying thanks.

After ordering this item for next day delivery. At 7pm I got notification then it had been delivered and only to find that I had been sent an empty open damaged box.. after over 1hr trying to contact amazon I finally was told they can't send a new one out and will need a refund and order aging. Finally got the item the nest afternoon. The multi tool itself is amazing and comes in very handy for cutting back boxes in to plasterboard. The battery lasts well as using a 4ah battery. Item is amazing was just the delivery and customer service that let the score down

I have many tools Bosch, Dewalt , but that one is best ever it does alll jobs you can do ,everything . I’m very disappointed that I didn’t know that before what that tool can do !!!!All in one small size. , quick tool change very good for home work business work every thing…

I’m a tradesman so need decent power tools.I always purchase Dewalt, you can’t go wrong.The quick release for the blade is brilliant, no trying to find a Allen key.
