PLA 1kg 1.75mm Glow in Dark - 3D Printer Filament - FrontierFila

Very good results with this - worth paying the little extra for quality. On my printer, a Geeetech Prusa I3 it printed well at 210 deg C with 55C table temp and 100% feed rate.Remarkably bright in the dark after a very short exposure to bright light, and the glow is amazingly long lasting.Obviously the more fill you use in a model the more material there is to retain light, so for the maximum glow intensity and duration go for at least 50% fill.I will buy from this supplier again.

Prints well. If you look at the picture, this filament is the one on the left, you can see it had a much nicer silk finish compared to the other well known brand on the right.Not had any stringing or blockages whilst using it.It is abrasive though so will require a hardened steel nozzle.

I have bought a few types of glow in the dark filament and this one seems to glow the brightest. Which is kind of the point of glow in the dark filament. So yeah!

Fabulous and great fun to print with, just make sure you print with very little infill as the thicker the print the brighter the glow in the dark.

This is the second reel of this I have bought. This first printed as a white colour and glowed green in the dark. Very nice.The second printed as a dirty grey (despite the pre-printed filament looking white) and glowed only very little after printed..Both were printed at 210C. Variation batch to batch seems extreme.Sounds like a similar problem to what Cathryn Parsons (earlier reviewer) is seeing.

I actually love this filament I would give more stars.But I keep getting dark shaded bands, on the prints which don't glow.Can you advise me on this?

Using the recommended settings, it's super easy to print. The bed adhesion is perfect at 60C and prints remain top quality even at higher print speeds. The glow is strong and the translucency is just enough to hide internal supports.However while the spool seems well winded, the filament had sharp hinges/breakpoints that got stuck in my extruder's entrance hole. Adding a short Bowden feeder before the entrance fixed the issue but took several wasted prints to figure this out.

Increible. Buen filamento. Depende del relleno ilumina mas o esta mas o menos tiempo. Frontierfila de nuevo. No decepciona. Ilumina bastante durante mucho tiempo. Facil de imprimir y el efecto reflectante es increible. Todo perfecto. Envío y envalaje sin problema.

Actúa como cualquier producto fotoluminiscente, fácil uso al ser PLA. El tono del PLA es entre blanco y translúcido. Recomendado para hacer figuras para niños.
