The quality needs serious improvement
I was really enthusiastic when I purchased this walker. My daughter had just started moving around the house using the furniture and I was hoping to give her more mobility with this toy. I spent quite some time browsing on internet and on Amazon and the reviews I read were quite good. It was however quite disappointing to find out that the "break" on one of the wheels of the walker we received didn't work. I contacted Amazon immediately and their reaction was superb - within hours they shipped a new walker and in one working day it was with us. That unfortunately didn't solve the problem as the walker seems to be of poor quality. One of the front wheels wobbles and every morning we have to tighten the "break" again. There are two reasons why I'm giving this product two stars. The breaks are two screws in each rear wheel and they need to be adjusted depending on the speed you need. with the first walker one of the breaks didn't work at all so it was completely unsafe for my 8 month old daughter to use it. With the second walker we had to tighten the break every morning as one of the screws would loosen up. The walker needs some extra weight at the front or otherwise while trying to stand up your child might topple over together with the walker. We used two 1,5-liter boxes for this purpose.Overall I didn't feel this product was safe enough for my daughter to learn to walk with it. The idea of the walker is great and I sincerely wanted to give it a good rating. I'm afraid though I can't recommend it to anybody.

Daughter delighted, but quality control issues evident
Positives:My 12-month-old daughter got hold of the handle and took her first steps without being held, and didn't want to let go. She absolutely loves it, and I like the understated design. A nice antidote to garish plastic and battery powered noise. It was very easily assembled.Negatives:One of the two locking parts on the walker I received isn't as tight a fit as it should be (the two are slightly different shapes/sizes - I have tried them the other way round and the problem remains), the back left wheel is not straight (seems not mounted straight on the axle), the lacquer finish has some drips evident, and it's quite a battle to get the rear wheel 'brakes' sufficiently tight for first steps. I'm considering sending it back and getting it exchanged in the hope my problems are a one-off.So, a great product let down by apparently poor quality control.By the way, the Pintoy blocks are a very nice fit with this walker and help add a bit of balast.

The Best Choice!
I bought this for my youngest nephew (aged 8 months). I was concerned as there are a lot of safety considerations these days with walkers. But after an evening of deliberation, this one was the easy choice because of the brake system - the lounge where he will use it has a laminate floor. My sister-in-law was so pleased with the walker that she rang immediately upon delivery then messaged me later to let me know how "VERY easy it was to put together, perfect for lounge floor, very safe and sturdy etc. Great choice! Photos to follow when our model is awake to try it out." She was even more pleased when I told her about the other uses, for example, he can sit in it and she can push him around :-) Its looks fit with a modern house but are timelessly clean and classic; it's built to last... but won't wreck your walls like a few walkers I've seen that crash off obstacles and surfaces! And I'm delighted that the Moover will encourage my nephew to get mobile and that it will be around to do the same for any brothers or sisters in the future. Well done to the Danes.

Gorgeous Wooden Walker
I bought this for my 10 month old as she is desperate to walk. I liked this one in particular because it's not all plastic and it doesn't have any noisy features. It was also the only one I could find with brakes which prevent the truck from running away with her. She was so pleased with herself when I put it together for her and just stood holding on to it with a big grin on her face. She's not quite figured out the forward stepping movement yet but she won't be long. It's really well made - nice rounded edges, solid with rubber rims on the wheels to protect furniture. The colour is lovely. It is a little more expensive that some of the others but in my opinion it is worth it - she will have lots of fun with it and can out her own things in it to push around - she can also sit on it and be pushed.

Perfect walker
Got this for our 7 month old who loves to stand. She is now 8.5 months old and walks with it. The breaking mechanism is essential for early use (I did not find this option with other walkers). We put heavy books on the cart to give it extra stability for now. I know it will be used for years (after a walker as a play cart). Our 4 yr old has the galt walker (not as good as a walker - no breaking mechanism) and uses it daily in her play. In fact she tried to hijack the new walker immediately for her play purposes. The mover walker is truly beautiful I it's all wood design. The size I also perfect for a small child (12months).My only comment is that perhaps closing the cart bed on the front end would make it better for containing objects. I will probably look for a basket to nestle in the cart bed for play.

Nice but rear wheels are problematic.
Ummm, nice idea, nice design, great size - sadly the rear wheels keep falling off and the tolerances on the wheel tension screws are so slight that they are pretty much ineffective. I really wanted to like this as my daughter loves it but its useage is completely hampered by the problems with the wheels. I literally have to carry a philips and flat head screw driver when she is using it.A great product let down by itself - such a shame, 5 out of 10.
