Customer service restored!
Updated review: I received a letter today from the CEO of the company apologizing for their mistake and making things right for me. I really appreciated the sincere apology, not making any excuses and just taking ownership of my issue, and based on his letter and response I feel like the issue I was having was probably a rare occurrence and they do indeed strive for good customer service. As I said originally, the Precision Pro products are very good quality and given the letter and apology I received today I would buy from them again.Original review: The actual product is really nice. It grabs the pin pretty easily and produces consistent, accurate, yardage. The magnetic holder is really strong. Part is the Precision Pro "value" was free lifetime battery replacement. I liked the product and the idea of free batteries so much I bought 2.Now come time to order that free battery. The ordering process was quick and easy. On July 25 (the weeks from the day of this review) I ordered. So far, no battery, it's not even shipped as far as I can tell, I've tried to get customer support multiple times. One time I asked for help on my order and their response was simply "click this link to order a battery". Several other times it's been "we're sorry. The other is now shipped. Check your email for status." And as you may have guessed, that status still says it isn't shipped. Last interaction I was told it's a warehouse problem. So, I've all but given up on getting the battery. I realize the battery is probably $8 and I can just get one on my own, but don't offer it if you aren't going to follow through. I would advise anyone that might want to buy this that if their customer service can't handle a request as simple as "where is my very simple order" then consider what it might be like if you had a bigger problem....

Absolutely worth the investment/savings!
For a couple of hundred dollar investment, you want to be pleased with your purchase... I sure am and have nothing but good things to say about this Rangefinder, though I do have 1 observation that may help you. First, I really thought that the 'top-line-brands' that cost 1.5x to 2x more had some intrinsic quality/feature that distinguished it from the NX9. After 10 or so rounds, I can't imagine what they'd be. This product does just what it says it will, quickly, easily, and with accuracy about 98% of the time (probably 1 or two times a round, I'll shoot a number that is wildly and clearly wrong; without having to move or turn on/off or re-focus I can re-shoot and get the real number - - - I reckon I can chalk this up to 'operator error').My observation is that the slope/distance calculator is an extra that one day will actually benefit me (at this point, I'm not good enough to take advantage of knowing my approach is 163 yards but it 'plays like' 158... interesting, yes. Actionable, not really. It has validated that my perception of needing to drop or add a club due to large elevation changes is pretty accurate. So consider, based on how many different courses you play, whether this is really needed and worth the extra $.Finally, FOR YEARS, I debated whether I really needed a range finder given fairway markers and a very simple (old) Garmin watch that gave me front/middle/back distances. I now know that the answer is 'yes'... in one simple, 7 second, step I know how far I need to hit it, eliminating a) the time expended finding stakes/fairway markers, walking off steps, getting center-of-green distance and then TRYING to account for + or - for pin locations to choose the right club and b) knowing where NOT TO HIT IT to safely stay out of creeks, bunkers, trees (which too shoots accurately).

Vital tool for a serious player
I'm a mid-handicap player that always used yardage markers to shoot to the middle of the green. This tool is just as important as a great club in the bag. I've now had the NX7 Pro for about 10 months. I used it for the entirety of 2020 to date. The laser and distance readings are spot on. I've had players in my group of golf buddies who also had Bushnel range finders lock in on distances all within 1/2 yard of what this was reading. The NX7 is very user friendly. Hit the top button once to activate and then again when you have your cross hairs on target. The NX7 will then vibrate when you have your distance. The struggle for me was always longer distances trying to ping the flag. From anywhere 250+ yards out, it's not super easy to lock on the flag specifically for me because my hands would shake slightly. Hold your breath while you take the long ranges, and seems to help me at least to ping the flag. In most cases, so long as the laser hits the flag at least for a split second while you're pinging it, you'll have your distance. The proslope mode is cool in that there's a way to adjust for elevation difference. I did use it in non-competitive rounds. I tended to trust the distance, but sometimes second guessed the upward elevation changes and clubbed up a little more. My only gripe with the laser is the battery life. I'm now testing their policy on lifetime battery replacement. I played about 40 or so rounds in the past 10 months, and it now requires a new battery. At first, I thought the thing was dying, but it turns on as normal and just turns off as you try to shoot a distance. Will update the review and rating pending their battery policy.Overall, the reason I rate this 5 stars is the ease of use, accuracy, and price. With distances pinging what the premium Bushnel products do, why spend an extra $150-200 for a name? Just my 2 cents. Would love to have the magnetic ability and strap this sucker to the cart, but all in all, this rangefinder is exactly what I needed and helped shave a few strokes and lessen my three putts. When you know what distance you're shooting and good enough to know your distances with irons, this thing is serious business.

works well so far
Great rangefinder. It lost a star because it states free batteries for life. The problem is they now charge for shipping. The shipping costs more thn what you can get it on amazon. It does slope distance which is great.

Great value
Comfortable, compact fit in hand. Magnet is strong and stays put. Quick and easy to lock onto object. Quiet vibration to confirm it is locked on to the object. Screen is sharp and clear.

Very accurate and easy to use
I like that this distance finder also provides for slope and uses batteries instead of rechargeable.

Quick and accurate
This is an excellent and easy to use rangefinder. I've had zero issues with pin seeking and the accuracy seems spot on. Personally, I would prefer the yardage to be displayed more centrally on the screen but this doesn't detract from the ease of use.
