QualatexHand Held Air Inflator - Single Action Balloon Pump

The Qualatex Hand Pumps work great at inflating twisting balloons. I purchased a large number of these for a balloon workshop I ran recently and these pumps did great at inflating twisting balloons 260s and above. This won’t inflate 160s easily, so you will likely need to pick up a different pump to get those inflated. These did inflate 260s, 350s, and rounds very well. Because this is a single action pump, it does require a little more work to inflate the balloon. If you’re not inflating a large number of balloons, this pump will work just find, but if you’re looking for something that can inflate balloons more effectively, I would consider getting a dual action pump (one that inflates when you both push and pull the pump) or a stand pump. For more lay persons, this pump will work just find however. This solid and sturdy feeling pump and much easier to use than even the cheaper dual action pumps you can buy at big box stores. Overall, these are a solid hand pump, and is good to have in your balloon bag as a backup in case your stand/electric pump stops working for you.

Got this for a DIY sleeping pad using balloons. Works great and easy to use (260Q balloon inflates fully in about 7 strokes) even for an inexperienced user. For my intended use, a smaller squeeze pump might make more sense even if that entails a lot more effort per balloon. Spacious compartment in back was enough to store balloons but I was hoping to squeeze the sleeping pad sleeve but could not. Anyway, a great product if your objective is to inflate balloons efficiently.

Great hand pump for 260Q ballons!

This is the only balloon pump to get, as far as I'm concerned. The built-in storage is a fantastic feature that makes ballooning on the go so much easier. Efficient, sturdy, and effective. I do wish it came in more colors, because everyone always asks me why I'm carrying a ketchup bottle in my purse. Oh well--nothing a bunch of stickers all over can't fix! :)

Need to inflate a lot of balloons about a foot or less small? Maybe an Inflatable for kids? This thing works well for that. Anything larger and you'll be there awhile with some tape and a tight grip. Get something larger/faster for those.This thing is small, light, and fast. Using it is quite efficient. But it won't help you grab it, so I hold it pretty tightly. I can't say I didn't feel the inside of the pump going up and down when I held it's external shell as I used it. It probably won't get broken inwards, but the plastic's not thick enough if I can feel it.It's held up well so far, but I doubt it'll last forever.

I have used many different pumps over the years. I find this one easy to use and durable. I have a couple of them that are at least eight years old or older. It is also easy for children. My granddaughters have used them since they were around five years old.

The design, with the whole body moving and not just a slender piston, works really well.

I use the Qualatex balloons, too; and this works amazing with them! Its super easy to pump up balloons and i will usually fill the balloon up with like 4-5 pumps and its perfect!
